I really wish I'd seen this page before giving them my money. Unfortunately, I had the same experience as most on here - only received 1 of 3 boxes from initial subscription, then they renewed me after I asked not to be renewed. After one response from them saying they'd refund money and send other 2 boxes, they've ghosted me for close to a month. So, definitely avoid as it appears to be a SCAM.
I only received one out of the three boxes I paid for. I purchased a 3 month subscription directly from their website in December of 2022 and it is now May of 2023 and I still have not received anything. I emailed them in April with no response, they have no phone number listed on their website, and I even tried Facebook messaging them with no response. I would much rather resolve the problem with the company than write a review but I have been unable to reach them.
If they would ever ship their boxes! We ordered back in December as a gift! One box was shipped, 1! and for that 1 to be shipped I had to contact them! BEYOND IRRITATED!!!
I believe this is a scam. I received only 1 of my 3 month subscription. The box I did receive was very small. Not a lot of snacks. They were good, just not worth 26$ per box. I reached out first about not receiving the rest of my order and was told there was a family emergency and they were working on the backed up orders. Mine would be on the way in a week. Needless to say, I'm still waiting 2 MORE months later. It would be cheaper and faster to order snacks you like from wherever and make your own snack box.
worst service ever. I might even contact BBB and I am working with my credit card company to get fully refunded. My mother-in-law only received 1 box. I reached out several times and nothing. This is a scam
DO NOT order this box. I decided to try the three month subscription out, and the first box was ok, but nothing extraordinary so I immediately reached out to ask that they please do not renew. I was assured that after my three boxes it would be canceled. After receiving JUST TWO boxes, I received a notice that my subscription would be renewed and again reached out to say PLEASE DO NOT RENEW. I was assured that it "would be taken care of". I just woke up to a CHARGE on my account for three more months (mind you, I have only received two in the first place, not that I want any more crap from them anyway) and a message that "my box is being prepared". WTF? Terrible customer service.

Never received my box
I ordered a 3 months subscription, my first time ordering through CrateJoy. I had to contact SSB because the box did not ship out "the first week of the month." It did not ship until I contacted them. The first box I received a tracking number. Unfortunately, it was stolen. I contacted SSB and they said sure, I will send another. I never received a tracking number, asked them about it, and changed the address in case a second box was stolen (I'm guessing a replacement box never went out), and at that point, it was time for the second box. I never got notified it shipped out, and contacted them again. I received a tracking number on June 19, but it said the shipper was awaiting the item. I finally contacted SSB again the first Tuesday of July and asked them just to cancel my 3rd box and refund me. Instead I started getting crazy shipping notifications on Thursday. It looked like the second tracking number had made it to the post finally and was being overnighted or something. The box arrived at the gift recipients house that Saturday. In it was about 5 bags of different nuts and a few other items. Hardly a "variety". I waited the standard 4 days before I could contact CrateJoy, and then the seller messaged me after I contacted Cratejoy that they would cancel my last box and refund me (do not know for what yet). I contacted Cratejoy about this experience...
We purchased a 3-month subscription for an older family member recently diagnosed with diabetes. The literature all says that the box will ship the first week of the month. It did not ship until the third week of the month for our first month's subscription, and the family member was very upset and nervous she had missed the shipment. The second month, the package did not ship until the last week of the month. It is now the first week of the third month (when the third shipment should be sent), and the second shipment still has not arrived. As with before, our family member is very anxious about whether she might have missed it or someone stolen it off of her porch. A gift that was supposed to be fun has created a lot of angst for her.
Additionally, this is upsetting for me as a gift giver. I intended to purchase a 3-month subscription only, but the subscription service does not permit this type of one-time purchase. Instead, the box will "autorenew" if it is not cancelled prior to March 15. However, because of the shipping fiascoes, I am concerned that a cancellation before March 15 will result in our family member not receiving the final box we paid for since they apparently ship two to three weeks late each month.
I'm not sure about the quality of the items inside or the value for the amount of money spent because this was a gift, but the logistics have been...
I did not receive my box! Please tell me why I was charged for a renewal and I never received the first box??

Yuck!!!! It was a bunch of junk. Took a month to get and already billing me again and I haven’t even had a chance to try it all.

I'm so sorry, we do our best to curate new and exciting items in the low sugar and low carb space, but obviously they're not for everyone. As per your request, you have been issued a FULL REFUND, so at least it didn't cost you anything to try the snacks....

I am in disbelief at what a small box awaits me on my front porch. I am so very dissatisfied with the lack of contents. For what I paid I expected 10 items, give or take. I did not expect 6 single serve packages for $30+ a month. I am wondering if the remainder is to arrive in a different box. Would advise to keep looking for a value because this box subscription is taking advantage of their customers. Shame on them.
