Our first box from Superpower Academy turned out to be a hit! It has a positive and encouraging message about personal development, which we liked. This month’s activities are all about flight, and my kids enjoyed everything from the story to the projects and even the on-page activities. They were also quite happy about how the glider turned out. It’s just our first box, but we’re already impressed! It has an exciting feel overall, a perfect box for the imaginative ones or just about any kid who loves trying out new things – or those that need a little help in that direction. We loved the accessible, kid-friendly approach to the growth mindset!

Delightful! The glider activity itself was perfect for my eight year old son and me to spend some quality time together away from his iPad and our TV. While I can say Superpower Academy is somewhat similar to Kiwi crate, it also includes life lessons that will help make kids more confident and successful in general. Given all the outside influences on my kids today, I think Superpower Academy is a great choice to help supplement my parenting to help set my kids up for success in the future.

We have tried a few of these STEM subscription boxes and I think that this one is our favorite. J. had so much fun putting the pieces together and reading about what the feeling finder does and how it works, he really loved the comic book to with it also. What I love the most about this particular box as a parent is the focus on promoting a growth mindset, mindfulness and skills dealing with emotions, building cofidence and expressing empathy - which is so important in raising our little superheroes!

It's funny, he wasn't interested in opening up the first box initially, but when he finally did, he became really engaged in it. So, great job, and he is definitely looking forward to the next two! He was most excited about being able to build something (the sundial with the first box).

It was amazing to see my daughter confidently trying to problem-solve instead of getting upset about the fact that it hadn’t worked right away. Instead of disappointment, she was eager to keep trying and figure out how she could correct the issue. I was really impressed with the way this Superpower Academy box managed to teach about failure in such a meaningful and engaging way! I could see how my daughter responded (and has responded since then) to the challenges with a sense of confidence and purpose instead of just retreating and giving up, which is definitely a powerful trait to have. I thought the materials and presentation were great, especially that recorded message (so cool!) and the fact that they offered some creativity and freedom within the projects made it an even more meaningful experience. I’m totally on board with this box!

This box is such a fantastic idea! In this box comes a monthly mission that helps kids solve problems, take risks, work throiugh emotions and chellenges, and display courage. Included are hands-on porjects, comic books, and workbooks, stories of real-life heroes and fun surprises! These activites have a larger, significant meaning to them and teach kids important life skills and lessons, long after the dazzle of ordinary toys wear off.
