Q: what is the project for august 2020 and sept 2020? i am trying to get my charter to approve this box for my daughters for sewing class. please let me know asap. thanksAsked by Heather D., August 2020
Thank you for asking! We are currently transitioning to sending 3 projects per month. So, the subscription box that will be sent on September 4th (purchase before the end of August to recieve) will have a pre-cut kit to make an insulated lunch box, fabrics and a pattern to make a pieced wall-hanging, and a video that will teach subscribers how to upcycle a pull-over sweater into a button-down coat (or a shirt into a cardigan).
The crate that will ship on Oct. 4th (and will be promoted through September) will include a kit to make a really cool knot pillow, fabrics and a pattern to make a fun, fall garland/bunting, and a video teaching subscribers how to upcycle flannel shirts into reuseable hand warmers.
Q: I have a subscription. How do I edit the patterns? When I go to your website, I can’t link the subscription I have with Cratejoy. Thanks!Asked by Rhiannon B., November 2020
Hi there! Yes, our site and Cratejoy track subscribers separately. But, all of the project video links and the link to download the project pattern do not need proof of membership. All you need to do is type in the link. Are you having trouble with a certain link?
Q: Is it too late to sign up to get the November box?Asked by Kristi B., November 2020
Hi there! It is too late to sign up for the subscription and receive the November box as your first shipment. However, we do have a couple extra of these packages this month and they are available for purchase outside of the subscription on our main website. We are not able to post a link (or an email address) in this reply... If you would like that link, please reach out to us by email :)
Q: I want to try for my daughter age 9. What is the cancellation policy if she doesn’t like it? Asked by Connie J., October 2020
Hi there! We would love to be a part of your daughter's creative journey! Rest assured, you can cancel your subscription at any time!
Just learning how to sew and this box helps me accomplish that goal. Seeing it on the table reminds me to get the machine and start! Everything you need to do the project is included and the youtube video gives step-by-step instructions. I was able to complete the blanket in an afternoon. Great box for a beginner sewer like me!
