I paid for my box in early January enough time to receive the January box and it said "ready for shipment" for 3 full months. I have tried to contact the seller multiple times to find out where my box is with NO RESPONSE. I have opened a case with Cratejoy with also NO RESPONSE. I am beyond frustrated and would strongly advise anyone to NOT ORDER THIS BOX. I think this is a scam!!! I'm also disappointed in Cratejoy for allowing this with multiple transactions. By reading the reviews, I'm obviously not the first to have this happen. But, hopefully I will be the last. I am now out $37.50 with nothing to show for it. Please do not order from them unless you want to lose money!!!! I'm also cancelling all subscriptions with Cratejoy as I am disappointed with their non-handling of the situation and continuing to allow customers to be ripped off.

I was really looking forward to this box, but never received it. Ordered in late October and saw that the shipping date was the 25th of the month, so I figured I'd have to wait until late November, early December. But the time came and went. A week came and went. Two weeks came and went - crickets. My renewal then came up and I canceled it - after all, I hadn't received the first box and didn't know if I would want to continue with it. I sent a message to the seller. Crickets. I don't know if the seller has simply discontinued the box - if so, I recommend discontinuing the page. I'd rather believe that then that it's a scam, or that the seller is just so unresponsive to customers. I don't know what the deal is, but I would advise those considering this box to think twice.

I cant even leave an honest review because its been 11 days since the shipping date (stated the 25th) and my product still has not shipped or been recieved. The seller has not responded to my messages. And I have already been charged for a second shipment which I expect I will not recieve either. Trying to contact cratejoy for 2 full refunds now (since I was charged for 2 products both not shipped or recieved)

UPDATE AFTER RECEIVING FEBRUARY 2021 BOX-LIKE NIGHT & DAY! I’d say it’s hit or miss, but Appalachian Artisan definitely hit it on the nose with this box! I love it! First off, I immediately noticed they included a couple notes such as a list of items-now it’s clear what items were int the box. I also LOVE they mentioned returning to their roots which is boho chic...this is what I would expect from Handcrafted items. Also included was a discount for next purchase. Love, love, love the journal which had a really cute design & was a nice size. The manner in which it was bound screamed handcrafted!!! Next item was a beautiful necklace made which what I think is resin with gorgeous contrasting colors that sparkled...would definitely wear & super cute to include for Valentine’s Day!
The coaster was made with similar material/resin?, with really pretty green & earth tone swirls that also sparkled...reminiscent of marble. The next 2 were stencils with a nice design I could see using to accent a wood box or other decor. Next was a bohemian large & adorable pouch that had the feel of Vegan leather & could fit all the other items included in the box. If Appalachian Artisan stays consistent, this would definitely be a subscription worth trying. (I may need to resubscribe). Also they wanted you to email your sizes in tops, dresses, bust size etc., so I’m thinking they will next include a wearable item. I love boho chic!!!...

I received January 2021 box yesterday. It contained a journal; stencils; a leather pouch which will hold the journal and stencils; a gorgeous "Love" necklace; and an abstract coaster. After being very disappoint in December, I am beyond happy with January's box. Looking forward to future boxes, which may include clothing.

Love the items in the box! I sent a message regarding an issue with my first box, Mynecklace came broken, it was detached from the chain itself. The chain was hanging out of the box upon arrival. Kendra contacted me and let me know a replacement was being sent with my next box! I also didn’t realize when I ordered what box I was going to receive as I had ordered after the cutoff date for November so it wasn’t clear which month I was going to get so that was confusing but I wasn’t disappointed with what I got! Overall the items are unique, well made and very cute!

Contacting my credit card company to refute this charge. It's been two months with the seller not responding to inquires. I know things are hard these days, but no response is just RUDE.
