I was slightly scared that I had just joined a cake tasting club after receiving a very undesirable cake brownie gift through the post from a different company which I will not name! However upon receiving my box I was amazed at the presentation, the packaging and ultimately the contents and I cannot wait for my next box to arrive please keep up the amazing work and my favourite was the chocolate and mint cake slice 🙌😍

I sent this to my best friend in the UK as a quarantine gift, and she loved it! I was worried at first that cake in a box might be a bit strange, and might not keep fresh, but she said the cakes and brownies were still moist and delicious, and the flavors were unique. You can tell there was time and effort put into this box. It also shipped and delivered quickly. I would definitely send this again. I only wish these could be sent to the US as well!

I'm in a long distance relationship, and I'm in California while he's in Scotland. It's been difficult finding him presents that don't cost an arm and a leg to ship over to the United Kingdom that I can purchase while residing in the States.
Long story short: This subscription box is well worth the money and a wonderful present for anyone.
I've bought it for him twice now, and he's absolutely loved the sweets they send(I've heard him rave about how delicious they are). There have been absolutely no issues in both of the times I've purchased it for him. I've noted that the customer service is great, and I've gotten updates about when the box would ship, which was very much appreciated. For the February box, they even included a Valentine's Day balloon! This service has given me a way to spoil my boyfriend half a world away, and I can't thank the Cake Tasting Club enough for that.

I wrote this review (below) while in a lot of pain, and wasn't very fair. Vicky has now explained to me that the additives are mainly in the biscuit and paste that they used, and that she is actually very careful about additives. I was very frustrated about the difficulty of cancelling, but this is a problem of using Cratejoy on a phone, I think, and not the Cake Tasting Club's fault. (I had a similar problem trying to edit this review!) I've been on chemo recently, and I think my taste buds are affected, so don't trust me on that either! :D

I hoped the cooking would be fairly natural but there was a long list of the additives in the cakes, and it looked, and tasted, like something I could have picked up in the supermarket. I've tried to cancel three times, but the web site is still showing it as an active subscription, and I've received a message today saying that my payment for next month's box will be taken on Monday. I can't find any way to remove my bank cards from the site, so I can't stop tomorrow's payment. To be honest I'd hesitate to use the Cratejoy website again - even though other sellers have been very good. I've cancelled all other subscriptions, and should be able to cancel this subscription and remove my bank cards. (I only received this month's box a few days ago, and have been...

My first classic box was the February 2018 one and I’m so glad I signed up! I saw someone post about the cake tasting club and I had a look. I love everything from the packaging to the lovely little recipe cards and of course the cakes! Nothing nicer then making a cupper and having a slice of yummy cake! Can’t wait for Marchs box!
