This review is for the February 2021 box. I wanted to post a picture of it, because it arrived so pretty, but the Upload Photos link was not working. Regardless, I liked this box a lot. There were two soaps: Granite Peak and Black Cherry Merlot. Both soaps were lovely, smelled divine, and the Black Cherry Merlot had a great lather (I haven't used the other one yet). The extra that came with it is a heart shaped stone and it is very pretty. Not sure what I will do with it, but I know I can display it somewhere! My one con to this box is that I wish the soaps did not contain palm oil. I've been trying to use palm oil free soaps and hair care in addition to dish and laundry detergent in my home, so I was bummed to see this had palm oil. Overall though a very nice treat to get while stuck at home during a pandemic!

I have bought handmade soaps before. Although the soap in the past does not compare to The soap you will receive in these boxes. These soaps are so soothing and smell great. Even the smell of your bathroom changes for the better. Lol. Also you can personalize your box. You can leave a special message inside if you are giving it as a gift. Like I have also done in the past. It worked out great. I hope I never need to buy commercial damaging soap again. I’m hooked and can not wait for next months box.

The June Box
The month of June welcomes Summer and brings you the sweet smells of Valencia Orange and Fresh Ocean scents. The Valencia Orange bars are topped with orange slices from Amanda's orange tree! The blue and white swirly soap will spark your summer feelings with it's fresh ocean scent. The gift for the month is a timely handmade mask since masks are being worn for social distancing in many places now. These are masks are created by Amanda from her quilting fabric leftovers..
The May Box
Soap by Amanda's May Box brings you the sweet smell of Bay Rose, with a hint of Sandalwood in a pretty pink and white swirl soap. Also included is an all natural Calendula Cleansing Bar. Calendula is known for antifungal, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties and is soothing to the skin. The gift of the month is a pumice bath stone and the beer soap of the month is made from Two Emotions Raspberry Sour from Helix Brewing Co. of San Diego.
The April Box
April's box is groovy. What does that mean? Google it and you might think it's a computer programming language but really groovy means music that’s swinging, tight, funky, in the pocket (per Ethan Heine's Blog). Like tight music, Soap by Amanda's box for April brings a melody of Vanilla Blackberry, and Eucalyptus Woods scents. A multicolored hand crocheted kitchen scrubby is included this month. The beer soap of the month is a Porter soap from Deft Brewing of San Diego.
The March Soap by Amanda Box
The March Box features a pretty green and white Cucumber, Mint, and Aloe Vera soap and it smells AMAZING! This soap is made with a blend of oils including Olive, Coconut, and Apricot Kernel. It's a lovely three color swirl soap and includes Aloe Vera cut fresh from the garden. Also this month's box, I'm including a beer soap made from Guinness Irish Stout Draught with Sunflower Oil and Shea Butter. This month's gift provides you with a sneak peek of Spring!
February's Box
February's box is a special Valentine just for you or the one(s) you love! Love abounds this month so this Soap by Amanda Valentine box includes two all time favorite soaps: Cinnaspice Swirl and Plumeria and a special hearts galore gift of a heart-shaped Freesia and Chamomile scented soap and a "Your Making Me Fizzy" heart-shaped bath bomb made with hemp seed oil. This month's Hoppy Soap is Coronado Brewing Company's Mermaid's Red Hoppy Red Ale Soap.
December's Box
Our December Soap by Amanda Box is festive featuring an all natural Holiday Lemon Spice soap with lemongrass, cinnamon leaf and cedar essential oils as well as a pretty Cranberry Fig scented swirl soap. Amanda is pleased to also present an all cotton hand-crocheted Flower Puff by Off the Hook Creations. This fragrant box will jump start your holiday spirit!
November's Box
This month's box theme is "Cornusoapia." Amanda created a bounty of beautiful multi-colored swirl soap with an earthy/herbal Basil, Sage and Mint scent coupled with your choice of either the soft and comforting Sweet Honey Oat soap or this month's small batch beer soap: One of San Diego's Belching Beaver Brewery's core beers, "Me So Honey" Blonde Honey Wheat Ale soap. This month's box includes a bundle of soap samples wrapped in raffia with a sprig of wild buckwheat.
The July Box
It's summer! To celebrate, this month's Soap by Amanda box contains two gorgeous soaps. You will receive a fragrant "Lovely Lilac Swirl" soap and a bar of zesty "Summer Spice." It's summer time and you'll be living easy as you hop in the shower singing the Ella Fitzgerald song and lathering up with this amazing treat! The gift this month is a leather cord wrapper or "ear bud taco" handmade by Vincent Ryan of Vincent Leather.
September's Box
The Soap by Amanda box for September is the best one yet! We’re closing out summer with a fresh and citrusy bar of Coconut Lemongrass and an herbal hand therapy soap made with Aloe and pumice. We’re mixing it up as far as the beer soap goes as we feature something new and different: a White Claw Hard Seltzer Soap! The gift this month is a Tillandsia air plant and a cute table top holder.
The October Mystery Box!
This month’s Soap by Amanda is a Mystery Box! You will receive essentially a “grab bag” of three (not two) bars of soap. The types and scents are the mystery; you won't know until you open it what it contains! You can be sure it will contain some amazing handcrafted soap!
The Welcome to 2021 Box
The first box of the new year contains a delightful blueberry and lemon verbena scented soap called “Woodsy Blue.” It's a yellow and purple swirl soap and looks lovely and sophisticated. The second soap is all natural, called “Pure Dee Old Fashion Soap.” This is soap the way it was made 100 years ago using pure ingredients without any additives or fragrance. It is true soap at it’s simplest and you will love it. The handmade gift this month is a quilted beverage coaster.
