I did a three month subscription...but have only received 1 box! When will box 2 come???

Although I loved the idea of this box, it is nothing like the description. In 2 months, which I prepaid for 3 unfortunately, I have yet to receive a "hot off the press" new release, no candles or relaxation items besides a satchet of lavender if you want to put that in the category. Also only 1 of the 4 books have been about a woman in the Bible. The last 2 books have obviously come from some big box store as the sticky residue from the price tags completely ruined the corner of the books. I tried to keep an open mind and usually am not disappointed in these kinds of boxes as they usually keep true to their descriptions. I had high hopes for this since the description says new releases. I read a lot so that was important to me so that I don't get books I have already read but, every book I have received have been old books which 3 of the 4 I have already read. Just overall disappointed.

There's a lot less in the box than the photos make it appear. The May box contained two books, a generic chapstick, a couple random postcards of women's faces (with delilah box branding on them) and an open baggie of loose lavender buds. The lavender spilled all over the box and was quite a mess. When I emailed the box curators about the mess as well as the extremely strong fragrance (which is a problem for someone in my house) I received a very terse email response. Also, both of the books were "book 3" of two separate series. Apparently now I have to go buy 4 books if I want to know what's going on. Overall, not thrilled. I signed up for three months and now i'm wishing it was just the one. Hopefully next month's will be better.

Oh my! I do not know what transpired between the shared emails and this review? I responded " I am so sorry for the inconvenience. We had lavender sachet's that went out in recent boxes. You will not be receiving anything with fragrance from here on out. Thank you for letting me know" . We do create and brand out own postcards, and Jill Eileen Smith as well as other popular Christian authors write 2-3 books a year. You received Miriam's Song, which is book 3 in her collection. (Heart of a King and Star of Persia) These are stand alone books and we have featured these books in previous months, but you were not a subscriber the month they were released....

The quality of the box is ok -- honestly, a little disappointing from what the description promises. The biggest problem is it is impossible to cancel...even after contacting the vendor directly! Be careful.

You can either log into your account and cancel which I see you did take care of, or you can skip multiple months at a time.
