The Gospel Hymn Box is often given as a gift to a grandparent, parent, or older friend. It's certainly a very unique gift and older people like it very much. First, "they don't have it already" and it's perfect for that "hard to shop for" person. Second, the uplifting and familiar hymn music really does fill a true and often unspoken need in people's spiritual lives in a very, very nice and even unexpected way.
People who want the traditional and inspiring hymns but also want a "bigger" experience with Bible quotes, discussion groups, etc. usually prefer The Hymn Box since it includes those extra features. People who want just the relaxing and inspiring instrument hymns for "any time"...

My favorite thing in here has been the CD by Dave Cornwall. He is super talented and has a wonderful way of interpreting classic inspirational music. So thankful to have his music in my home to help bring a calm spirit. I am glad there are boxes like this that offer some joy in a harsh world.

When I'm feeling the weight of the world on my shoulders I love listeninging to Coming In the Clouds. Sometimes I can close my eyes and actually feel myself inside the music. It's so beautiful.
