Q: What should I do if I already have a book in the subscription box? Asked by Allan G., September 2020
We understand this might happen occasionally. We recommend either letting your children each have their own copy, or gifting the book to a friend and inviting them to join your club for the month!
Q: Are the books hardcover or paperback?Asked by Allan G., September 2020
Most books we ship are paperback novels, however we may include a hardback novel from time to time.
Q: What is the suggested age range for this subscription?Asked by Allan G., September 2020
The boxes are designed for children ages 6-12, however many older and younger children still enjoy listening to the read-alouds and participating in the book club activities. With each book box, we also include a picture book list that goes with the theme of the month, so younger listeners can engage in the book club with the family as well.
Q: When is my subscription billed?Asked by Allan G., September 2020
Subscription billing renewals take place on the 15th of each month.
Such a thoughtful box! The books are wonderful and the crafts are amazing are really enhance the adventure!!
I have been a subscription box addict during the pandemic. It's what's bringing me novelty during this time. Most of the boxes I subscribe to are for my kids. It's a great way to let someone else do the planning and material collecting for me.
My kids are 2 and 5.
This box is, by far, the most and thoughtful box we receive. I have received each box since its inception.
The crafts are beautiful, which is so hard to come by with kid boxes. This isn't just cutting out paper and coloring with crayons. They've included candle making, journal making, and sidewalk chalk painting, among other things, and each craft is extremely high quality. For the Boxcar children we made a beautiful boxcar out of wood. Each box comes with enough crafts for two children. I use other boxes to keep my kids playing independently, but this box is a bonding one for us.
The books are great. Almost all the books have been written by female authors, which I love. Most of the books have had some sort of positive teamwork between the main characters, like Boxcar Children, Farmer Boy, and The Vanderbeekers of 141st.
I would love to see more books written by black authors and other people of color, as well as more books with female protagonists and LGBTQ characters. Also, there have been a lot of traditional...
These boxes are such a delight. My son and I have loved the stories we have received so far and I'm thankful there are enough art supplies that I get to join in on the fun too!
I can't wait to see what will be in the next box!
