Q: Do your boxes come with learning materials that represent inclusion of all ethnicities & nationalities. Is February's box Black History and does May's box incorporate Cinco De Mayo, etc?Asked by Jade M., February 2021
Hi Jade. Thanks for your question. Our boxes are academically based and do not have monthly themes. The skills from each box build on each other from month to month. If you are looking for something more culturally themed, there are some other subscription boxes out their that focus more on those aspects.
Yet you could include books or worksheets that feature minorities like myself, as well as those in the LGTBQ community since you're on the side of inclusion. Your statement here is in stark contrast to your blog posts. You support welcoming in refugees, not having a border wall built, and no travel ban correct? Yet why not more representation of minorities in your product rather than just using them in photos as advertisement marketing tools?

Q: After, trying several others, we have decided that the preschool box is the perfect one for us! Since we have already completed the first box, A-D is there a way to pick up where we left off?Asked by Laura S., April 2020
If you reactivate your existing subscription it will automatically pick up from where you left off. If, for some reason, you started a new subscription just email us and we can set you up on the next box.
My three year old has absolutely loved these crafts and activities! She has really enjoyed hiding the different letter cards and finding them! We have enjoyed going over our colors and numbers and letters! I am so excited about this! And I’ve already shared it with several family and friends! I can’t wait for the next ones! Thank you for such amazing and creative ideas!
I wish I could give more than 5 stars. My daughter was so excited to learn and do all of the activities. Everything is perfectly organized and explained on what to have your child do. I love this so much!!
Have you heard of The Preschool Box? The goal of the Preschool Box is to teach your preschooler the basics of kindergarten over the span of a 12-month period. Each box is focused on selected learning objectives with an eye on phonics, reading skills and basic math concepts. Each box also includes a fun book and stickers!
Here, Parker is sorting fun, colored objects given to us as a part of the box on a sorting mat. We had so much fun engaging in learning play together.
In box 1, families work with the letters A-D. Watercolor paints, Q-tips and letters were a part of the box to encourage art play and working with letter identification and sounds. D = dots, C = Cookie, B = Beans
Picture flashcards were also part of the box with the initial letter sound on the back to encourage more phonics practice.
We also worked on counting and number recognition. I LOVED the activity with the number flashcards on 1 side and corresponding velcro dots on the back for counting, which also includes a sensory piece. Parker loves counting the dots!
Additionally, there are worksheets included for glueing the correct number of sequins to the "gumball machines" and tracing letters/numbers, which was a little too advanced for my 2.5 year old.
We LOVE books in this house and this box also included an awesome book featuring a Panda Bear, Parker's favorite stuffy. Total WIN!
So, here's the dish... as an educator, I...
Hunter and I started doing The Preschool Box last week. At first I was going to try and come up with a lesson plan on my own but trying to do that and still run my design company was too much. This box is SO helpful! It gives me an organized plan for each week. It comes ready to jump in. All the crafts are organized in little bags so you grab the one you need and get started. Definitely helps us both!!
It’s an awesome program for home schooling moms. I love it.
My son? and I enjoy preschool box. He has learn a lot by completing the projects and working in the booklet.
My 4 year old son and I love getting this box every month! We spend good fun quality time together!
High quality and very well put together. It's simple and age appropriate. Super convenient has everything you need for each activity. worth the price for sure. Highly recommend.
I purchased this for my child care. Absolutely love this program. Supplies are very high quality and activities are very developmently appropriate. The children are enjoying the activities so much.
This subscription service has been wonderful. My daughter has so much fun making her alphabet. We connected to the group on facebook, which allows you to connect with other parents who also subscribe to the box. You can see others progress and share your own. My daughter loves the books and additional games that come with it. My daughter attends preschool so we only do subscriptions in the summer. I tried a few other subscriptions last year and this is by far the best one, in my opinion. I am on a break for now since school is back in session but I will definitely make sure to order again next summer so we can finish our alphabet. Of note: one of our boxes was lost in the mail (not the seller's fault, just a shipping mishap). Even so the seller replaced my box for free and sent it with my next box. Customer service response time was fast. Would highly recommend!
