Hi there! We ship each subscription around the 27th of the month so that all subscribers receive it by the first. This month's are going out on the 28th.

This was my first month getting a subscription from The Burlap Bag and I am thrilled with it. I did the candle subscription! I love candles! This months was “Best Smell Ever” and they couldn’t have picked a better name! It is a citrus candle which are my absolute favorite! It is on my nightstand and I burn it before bed. I received the melts, candle and room spray. The scent was very unusual and WONDERFUL, but VERY faint! The room spray didn't have much of a noticeable smell when sprayed. I haven't tried the candle yet. I'm a bit of a wax melt connoisseur and purchase wax melts quite a bit and from a company that I absolutely love, that the melts have a lovely aroma for days. I put one of these melts in the afternoon, it has a very faint aroma once melted and by the time I went to bed, I could no longer smell it at all. It would be a great idea if the scents were only stronger.

I wanted to love this box. It smells great, very well packaged and the right price. Sadly, for me, there's not enough scent throw to be worth purchasing again. The scent was lovely, but even with both the wax melt and candle going in the same space, you could barely smell it 3 feet away. The room spray is completely useless. It didn't even make my small bathroom smell a couple minutes after spraying. I do not have that problem with other brands. If you want subtle, this is packaged well and good sizes. Just not a good fit for me.

I am extremely disappointed with this box! I received it today and was so excited until I went to smell my candle and there was barely a scent at all! I lit it and cant smell anything. The melts are just as bad.. a very faint smell. UPDATE!! I was contacted by a miss Laura about my candles and melts and she offered to send me new candles or refund my money. I was impressed with her giving me options on ways to fix the issue.

Earlier, I wrote a review with a comment on the quality of packaging and the quality of scent (or lack thereof). Soon after, I received an email from Lauren, who offered me a new candle. I opted to get the La-La Land candle, tentatively hoping the scent would be stronger. The candle arrived on Thursday and I've been burning it all weekend. My first candle had only a faint scent, but this one? So strong, so wonderful, so great. 10/10 would buy the La-La Land candle again. Here's hoping the rest of the candles smell as lovely!
