I’m two months in to a three month subscription. I’ve received two books that were fine, but sell for $8-10 on Amazon. So what is the remaining cost? Apparently it’s repackaged tea or hot cocoa and a bag full of smarties and weirdly off brand suck on and chewy candy, much of which was stale. I threw out half of it and gave the other half to my kids. Also the packaging has been really sticky and off putting. I’ve done lots of different subscription boxes, this one was just really disappointing.

We are sorry to hear that your experience with our Petite Book Box is less than satisfactory. There are a few things that should be addressed. First and foremost, the majority of our teas are exclusive blends. Two of which, are registered commercially. All our teas are loose-leaf and purchased in bulk. Therefore, we do have to package them. The same, generally, go for the coffee and hot chocolate we buy.
One of the things we pride ourselves on is we offer candy from different countries. Unfortunately, some Americans are taught that if the candy label is not written in English or the candy identifies with a different culture or ethnic group it must be off-brand.
