I was delighted to receive my first UOG package with my seeds, labels , grow pods, and fertilizer. Everything arrived in perfect form. I was especially intrigued with the Fava beans as I have never grown these. UOG is nudging me to further my gardening repertoire and move outside my box. So here I am with my first Fava beans, excited to plant and already looking up recipes in which to use them. I enjoy surprises as well as learning for personal growth and UOG gives me the joy of both.
I really love this subscription! It's such a fun surprise every month and it is perfectly packaged! Seeds are very high quality to boot.
I’m so glad I stumbled upon UOG on Instagram. I signed up for the monthly seed box and received a superb variety of seeds for my type of gardening. I planted the beans and they sprouted well, I was able to gift some sprouts to neighbors for them to try to grow too. I can’t wait to get more seeds in the future. Thanks!

We love this service. It’s a must try for any gardener. We were new to gardening when we started this subscription and it’s nice to have curated seeds delivered to your mailbox once a month. We like the “no fuss” packaging from a “no fuss” company. There customer service is amazing. They are responsive and helpful. Try this!
This was a wonderful service. I had it for almost a year and a half and was very happy. Pity I'm moving out of the country.
Would rate lower than one star if possible; Urban Organic Gardener appears to exist only to steal your money.
Since signing up, my subscription has been:
- "Mistakenly cancelled for a technical issue".
- Two months never arrived at all.
- And one month arrived with only one seed packet (not the five that are allegedly included with the subscription). Followed by a cancellation of the subscription but no refund.
This company is completely non-responsive to emails. DO NOT GET THIS BOX.

I wish I could confidently assign stars to this, but all I know is that excitedly dropped $45 for a 3 month subscription for my husband for a Christmas present...and here we are at the end of January with no delivery and no communication about it. I could have saved the $45 and disappointment by going with literally any other subscription service. Maybe the negative review will prompt a response email, answer to my posted question, or some remark here about how the issues lies with me, rather than the company’s lack of communication.
