I'm honestly disappointed. When I signed up, it sounded like I would get seasonal seeds. And like they might be seeds I wouldn't have thought of purchasing. Just got my shipment. It only had tomato seeds. I could have sworn it said I would receive at least two types of seeds? Regardless, it's January and I got tomato seeds. Not even a heritage breed. Just cherry tomatoes. That is not even worth the 5$. Will be cancelling immediately

Hi Elaina - It looks like you just missed the deadline to receive our May shipment by a couple days. The deadline to join our monthly seed club is by the 4th of every month. You joined on the 7th.

Keep in mind, I'm currently unemployed. I was billed for September and I still haven't received anything. I have emailed them three times now, and still no response. Thank you for taking my money. I was hoping for seeds to grow food for my family.
I subscribed 3 months ago and am loving this! They send a nice assortment in each shipment and, unlike buying seeds in the store, I'm not left with an envelope full of extra seeds. So far everything I've planted has sprouted. With the included instructions, even an inexperienced gardener can be eating homegrown vegetables in a few weeks!
Love getting my package of a variety of seeds every month. I have been sent everything from thyme to radishes to lettuce. Comes with everything you need to get started. Love it!
This monthly subscription includes everything you need to start growing your own vegetables. You just answer a few questions to help them narrow down what kind of gardener you are, what kind of space you have available, etc. so they can send you the gardening supplies specific to your situation. They pick which plants to send you which is good because you end up with something that will grow in your area and you end up trying things that you might not ordinarily pick to grow. Everything you need is sent in one envelope and these are no left overs from last season seeds, everything is fresh, good quality and you get a lot of different seeds, not the same things over and over. This subscription would make a perfect gift for a wide variety of people from gardeners with some experience with maybe limited space to a wanna-be gardeners that just lack the know how, confidence and aren’t really sure where to start. I think it would be appropriate for a wide age range, the instructions are easy enough to follow for anyone I would say age 12 and up, it’s that easy. Plus the seeds are organic, with the price of organic vegetables and fruits being so high, you can easily save more money growing your own than the price of the subscription. For me, I enjoy spending quality time with my preteen daughter planting and watering. I also have found out that she enjoys trying different vegetables...

I paid for my monthly subscription, and I never received the monthly box. I even sent a message to let them know I never received it, and I still haven't heard from them. My first month I didn't have a problem either.
The seeds arrived well-packaged and with a starter pot thingy I'm afraid I can't remember the proper name for. They were the right kind of plants for my zone and the fact that I garden in containers, with a good number of seeds for planting in my pots. There were enough that I didn't consider them overpriced, either.
My yellow chard and radishes were the only seeds I've planted so far. Despite not planting according to instructions, they still produced. The chard has some huge leaves on it! I should have watered the radishes more, though. They started out beautifully, but ended up in drought condition and didn't do as well as the chard planted later after the heat stopped trying to kill me when I went outdoors.
I will be happy to rejoin the club once the evil virus stops messing with my paychecks! For now, though, I'll just be missing my monthly shipments of potential yumminess.
I'll preface this with that I have a black thumb. I literally kill everything - I even give snake plants a run for their money which are generally regarded as extremely hardly and tolerant plants.
Figured Id give these monthly seeds a try. Why not? We are in a pandemic. And, everyone now has a garden.
But my prediction was right - I still suck at gardening. I am not sure if this is because I am in Phoenix where it is 118 here or what, but everything dies.
But I like this set. For a couple bucks a month I got to try to grow things I certainly wouldn't have picked myself. Things generally grew, but ultimately died, so the seeds are good quality. Instructions are clear. Again I dont know if this is because my setup is wrong or if I'm simply cursed at gardening.
I am ultimately canceling because I'm not getting anything out of the onhtly buy, but I do think this is totally worth it to someone who has a more green thumb than myself.
I bought a 6 month subscription to this service for my wife at Christmas and overall it was a great present. The variety was good and the directions and supplies did the job. Only thing stopping this from getting 5 stars was a number of seeds didn't sprout at all, despite our best efforts. Not the end of the world, and for all I know they're better than most, but worth noting.
Some of the most helpful customer service I've come across though, so don't underestimate that.

I wish I could confidently assign stars to this, but all I know is that excitedly dropped $45 for a 3 month subscription for my husband for a Christmas present...and here we are at the end of January with no delivery and no communication about it. I could have saved the $45 and disappointment by going with literally any other subscription service. Maybe the negative review will prompt a response email, answer to my posted question, or some remark here about how the issues lies with me, rather than the company’s lack of communication.

I've received 2 months' worth of seeds and have enjoyed trying a variety of plants in my limited garden space. I received just the right amount of organic, non-GMO seeds to try 10 kinds of veggies, some of which I love and can't find in a store. I haven't yet planted the second batch and had mixed results with the first batch.
As a beginner, I wanted to take the research and guess work out of choosing seeds and didn't want to buy more seeds than I needed, and this service is perfect in that regard. As a beginner, I wish I'd had more basic info, especially about freezing. The UOG website wasn't so helpful in that respect, but I enjoyed reading it otherwise. Had I not been so lazy about looking elsewhere for guidance, more of my plants would still be alive. I think I'll be more successful with this batch.

This is a tech related issue we are working on at the moment. What happened is that you signed up for a 6 month membership - which by the way we thank you for giving us a try - but then after you received your first package you cancelled the membership. I'm assuming you did that to avoid any type of auto-renewal after 6 months then? We're not sure. But either way, you canceled the membership and the way Cratejoy handles this is by cancelling the whole membership - even though you still have 5 more months of packages. We're sorry. Unfortunately that is past the deadline to join each month (which is by midnight on the 4th over every month). If you order after this deadline then you would wait and receive the next months seed club shipment (which ships out on the 5th of every month). Everything you need to start growing :) the only complaint I have is the seed count. You get 10-15 seeds per variety.
I live in a big city in a warm climate where it gets exceptionally hot during the summer. I have had to get creative with gardening. Sometimes seasonal seeds are not always available where I live. UOG is perfect for my needs because they send a variety of seeds every month, and I can choose which ones will work best for my containers and raised beds in various weather conditions. The starter kits are helpful to get the seeds germinated prior to planting. The seeds from UOG have produced some plentiful harvests year round for me and my family.
