Q: Is this "new condition" vintage cup and saucer?Asked by May W., February 2021
Hi May, great question! These are vintage so some are unused/were stored on shelves for years and some are used. They are all in excellent condition. Hope this helps :)
Q: I love to collect teacups that were made around the 1960's and older (the exception being if a newer cup is too pretty to pass up). So I was wondering what the typical age of the teacups are?Asked by Cheye H., April 2022
Hi Cheye, Thank you for your interest in my small business! Our tea cups really range in age and design. We can notate your account with preferences and try our best to accommodate them but we definitely have some from the 90s as well :) feel free to reach out if you’re curious about anything else!
Q: I received my third teacup which looks very much like my second set. Is there any tracking to ensure that I will receive different and more colorful (both were very pale peach floral) teacups?Asked by Julie P., June 2021
Hi Julie, we can customize to some degree with a prior email from the customer, which we notate onto the account. Some people only want pinks and some only want blues. Feel free to send us an email :)
Q: I received a 6 month subscription as a gift. I LOVE my monthly deliveries. Can I extend my subscription? I see the cup and saucer subscription is sold out.Asked by Toni K., April 2021
Hi Toni, so glad to hear you LOVED it! I’d be happy to open up a few duo sets for purchase. Please subscribe at your earliest convenience as they will sell out again :) thank you so much!
I received this box as a Christmas gift and just signed up for more! I have to say, the customer service is great. My third box came with a broken saucer. Not seller's fault from what i could tell. I was sent a replacement saucer right away. A perfect match!
I just received my first my first box & am hopelessly enamored. The teacup is beautiful, the tea is delicious & off the beaten path & the treats are simply devine. Shipping was fast. Packaging was sturdy & overall experience is 5 ☆.
My daughter purchased a three-month subscription as a Christmas present for me. I just received my first vintage teacup and saucer and it is lovely—Royal Dalton, The Romance Collection, Lisette. The tea selection and treats are excellent, also. What a special gift!
The cup and saucer are charming and practical.
FIRST: I FREAKING LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS SUBSCRIPTION AND I ABSOLUTELY HAVE ZERO PLANS TO CANCEL, LIKE, EVER.
No, really. NOT EVER! And, this review/commentary only applies to the last two shipments I have received.
But-- and this is simply part of the wheel of fortune one spins when it's a subscription box: you ain't gonna like everything. The last two months (November and December 2021) were meh for me (tho this is on the trail of about 4 months of what have become my favorite cups, so, I was due). I wouldn't have even bothered with a review but Cratejoy thinks I need to see multiple emails a day from them (um, I don't) and, well, they asked for a review.
This is my all-time favorite subscription box and I have told MANY people to jump on it (and they have!). Overall? I give them a billion stars. So if you're on the fence about it? Don't be. It's worth every penny.
But the thing is? You're not going to like everything. Ya spin the wheel, ya takes a chance. And remember: that's part of the fun. Even if the cup you get is one you just don't like. Me? I'm setting them aside as future gifts. That works too.
So don't let a box or two that doesn't suit your taste deter you. It happens. Still worth it.
That's what I wanted to say....
Product is perfect. I’m excited to see what next month brings. Thank you!
This box gets better and better each month with the treats. I will subscribe for life. I will have too many teacups haha, but I don't care! Love it so much!
Love this box!
What a terrific box with a beautiful gilt-edged vintage tea cup filled with tea and goodies. This would make a great get well or birthday gift. The package came shrink-wrapped in pink then boxed in layers of protective wrap. So no one is going to get a broken cup. Lovely treat for oneself or a friend.
My first teacup set arrived and it's so lovely. I can't wait until next month.
This teacup and saucer set is from Lenox - pattern is Temple Blossom, made in USA. It's a beautiful and unique piece. Very hard to find in excellent condition as they were only produced from 1978 to 1991 and have actual gold trim. Vintage items with real gold cannot be placed in the microwave.
This teacup and saucer set is from Lenox - pattern is Brookdale, made in USA. It's a timeless piece with hand painted, yellow dots in the center of the flowers. The pattern was only produced from 1963 to 1993 and has real platinum trim. Vintage items with gold, silver, or platinum trim cannot be placed in the microwave.
This teacup and saucer set is from the French company Luneville Badonviller. This company dates all the way back to the early 1900s, which means the teacup is probably older than us! As they are so old, it is hard to come across one that is in excellent condition. Like any other vintage china, it is best taken care of by not placing in the microwave or dishwasher.
