Not worth the purchase price, don't waste money. Bought as a gift and was extremely embarrassed as to the cheap looking products that came in the box. NOTHING like the pictures.
Hi Charity - the April Wild Woman Box was just as all of the 27 months of boxes that have been curated before it; including $50 in products from some amazing brands who provide a quality product, operate with integrity and align with Wild Woman values and support your active and outdoorsy lifestyle. It was also particularly well-received based on the dozens of subscriber unboxings and raves that we were tagged in on social media. Feedback like that reminds me that Wild Woman Box is doing it right and I'm so sorry that your experience was any different.
I reached out to address your concerns yesterday with a breakdown of what was in the box but I'm happy to include it here as well:
The contents of the July box did not seem to be of equal or greater value then the cost of the box. The items in the box were of good quality and were nice, but I had access to them through my local stores and could have purchased them for less then the 38$ for the box. I love the idea of this subscription, but the value of the products needs to increase to validate the monthly price or the monthly fee needs to be reduced.
Hi Judith, thanks for your feedback and for supporting Wild Woman!
Every month we strive to include brands that operate with integrity and align with Wild Woman Box values. We always promise to include a minimum of $50 worth of products and your July box included $60 in product value. All of the information about the brands and products is included on the content sheet inside your box each month so you’re welcome to visit their websites and see that value as well.
Thanks again and don’t hesitate to reach out directly if you have any other concerns!
This is my second WildWoman box. I was mixed on my review after my first box. The first box included a pocket stove that seems legit. It is the end of the season here so no chance for me to use it yet. The bandana included was cheap and not something I will use.
My second box included a deck of cards and a deodorizer for the laundry, essentially a pouch of fabric softener. Those two items do not scream wild woman to me at all. The other items was 1 reusable sandwich pouch, lotion and a granola bar and pouch of almond butter and jelly. In my opinion not worthy of the $30+ price tag. This box was a huge disappointment and I have asked to change the type of box for my third and final box.
Hey Matt - thanks for your review, we greatly appreciate the feedback of our subscribers! Every month we promise to include a minimum value of $50 in the box, in addition to Wild Woman exclusives - such as would Wild Woman Principal Card. The October Box wasn't any different but we understand that the Wild Woman Box isn't for everyone.
All of the products you have mentioned are from amazing companies that create products with integrity and value for the outdoorsy and active individual. To clear up some specifics, the details of the October Box and it's 6 products you mentioned weren't entirely accurate : 1.
