There are myriad ways to support the fight for racial equity and social justice. Sharing social media content, reading and learning from antiracist works, and adding your voice to protests are all tangible steps you can take immediately to support the Black community.
But one of the most important lessons of recent months' events is that the work of antiracism is just that — continued work. One never "arrives" as an antiracist, and one should continually work to keep racial equity and social justice at the forefront of their lives — daily.
Another immediate way to help, today and tomorrow, is to support Black-owned businesses, both local to you and online. Some of the Black businesses listed here were originally published in January of 2020; the list has been expanded and updated for this post. For even more Black-owned businesses on Cratejoy, see here.
