So order a box, ignore your phone calls, cancel your plans, and imagine a warm candle-lit bath, a good book, a cup of tea or coffee, and a tasty treat. Does it get any better than that? No. No, it absolutely does not.
- Each box features a previously published novel written by a female author in your choice of genre: general fiction, romance novel, mystery/thriller, or young adult fiction, plus an exclusive Introverts Retreat bookmark.
- You'll also receive an introvert-themed candle hand-poured by humans - never robots, plus and introvert-themed 8-ounce bottle of scented bath salts or a 4-ounce bar of scented soap, each made by hand, plus a bath or body care item.
- Enjoy a sweet snack created by a gourmet indy baker or chocolatier along with your choice of ground coffee, loose leaf tea, or cocoa.
- Introvert themes include "Love Me Enough to Leave Me Alone" and "I Love the Sound of Nobody Talking To Me."
- Are you picky about your books or just don't love surprises? That's awesome! When each box is ready to pack and ship we'll send an email with instructions on how to choose a specific book from our current collection. We also have our Introverts Retreat Best Book Promise - if you don't like the book you receive, just let us know why and we'll send you another!

We call it the Ready to Ship Essentials Box now. It includes items from past boxes - but it's quite similar to the subscription box: a book written by a female author, one of our exclusive book marks and 5 or 6 additional items. It's a great way to get a box right away!

I just received mine today. What do we do if there was some slight damage to the box??

The blue and white box itself usually takes some small amount of damage from the shipping process - as do all shipping boxes. If any of the items inside the box are damaged, just send us a picture and we'll see about replacing them. Otherwise, in the future, if you want an undamaged blue cat box, you could email us and request a bubble wrap and poly mailer - that would protect the box as well.

I've subscribed to two of these boxes: Read, and Read & Relax. I really liked both of my first boxes and the owner provided wonderful customer service, quickly answering all of my questions. And, when the Cratejoy system messed up my order selections, the owner immediately provided a replacement of my desired selection even though it wasn't her fault.
The candle and soap both smell fabulous. And, I loved the drink and treat, too.
I get 10 book boxes per month from 5 different companies right now and this is one of my new favorites. I'm very much looking forward to the rest of my subscrition installments!
