A boxed kit usually has around 70 to 80 pieces in it
A polybag has 40 to 50 pieces and
A custom kit can really vary between 20 and 55

When you place an order, your credit card is charged immediately. Shipments
take place around the 20th or 21st of the month. Then the renewal of your
subscription (if you do not cancel) will take place on the 1st of the
following month. For instance, if you order a month-to-month subscription
on April 9, your credit card is charged on the 9th and the Brickbox will
ship on April 20th. The renewal charge will happen on May 1st and May's box
will ship on May 20th.
Q: Are these actual, official LEGO brand sets only? Or off-brand bricks? Asked by Aaron G., June 2019
The kits we include are LEGO sets. A box may also contain a custom-designed
kit that is made up of LEGO bricks and the mini-figs are LEGO.
Occasionally, we add smaller LEGO compatible accessories in the box to go
along with the theme of the month.

Let me start by saying that this Brick Box is awesome. They have great themes, good products and the surprise of what you are going to get is always fun, BUT with the exchange rate, this isn't really worth it-at least to me- if you live in Canada, which is a shame because I really do enjoy it.
