My husband loved it! He said there were issues in it he never had and never seen. He also said he is looking forward to next months delivery.
The first shipment arrived in a battered box and the contents were exposed. However, the second shipment arrived in pristine condition and all of the comics were great. These comics are presents for our grandsons and they love them.
I am giving this company an overall rating of 1 star because of their lack of communication and availability of being contacted.
I purchased a 6 month subscription for my husband for Christmas 2020.
I get this email in May that my subscription has been renewed for another 6 months and was charged $155 and some change. My husband likes the comics but hasn’t even read all the ones he has so we don’t want anymore. I was shocked that my subscription renewed without a warning. I will say, this subscription renewal was not on my calendar, I just assumed I would get a heads up before getting charged. None the less, I was charged.
I of course, went online and canceled the subscription right away and emailed the company and requested a refund.
As I looked more and more at the company online I noticed that their online presence had not been updated in years and they had no phone number listed to be contacted. I started getting nervous I would not get my money back. I waited a few days and hadn’t heard anything back. So then I started getting really worried.
I tried contacting them via email, Facebook and Instagram.
I finally heard back and was basically told to calm myself and that I was warned the subscription would be renewing (which is false).
So the 1 star is for poor customer service and communication. Their products were fine (I am not a big comic book person but my husband...
My biggest issue with this box was the late shipping. I ordered it in hopes that it would make it in time for Easter for my son, it did not. I tried to reach out and was unable to get an answer on why the shipment was delayed. It is not April 19thand we have yet to receive it, although now we finally have a tracking code. Very frustrating as it ruined the plans and made my son feel left out.
Bought this subscription for my husband in April and nothing yet in June. Insanely ridiculous. Give us our money back.

Having subscribed to the three month edition of this offer, I am both pleasantly surprised at the products I have received, and extremely disappointed that it is over. The packages curated by CrateJoy were not only delivered quickly and fairly priced, but also extremely well curated. The diversity of comics across publishers and styles blew my mind, and left me wanting more.
I will absolutely be continuing my subscription.
The comics show up on time and in great condition. The selection is diverse in regards to the range of publishers and genres represented. So far, I've received a mix Marvel, DC, Image, IDW and others. My only thought is that the curation could be a little better.
The comics are always great, a monthly treat. A lot of autographs, variant covers, & #1s! A+
