Subscribe and receive a fun box of crafts inspired by Africa each month! Research shows that when a child learns about their cultural heritage they are emotionally healthier. And for non-African children, it will help them better understand this diverse world we live in and prepare them for success in a global economy. Ideal for kids 6+.

Make fun things like safari themed flip flops, Ankara print doll clothes (doll included), Gabonese masks, and more. The crafts are simplified to make them suitable for children although some adult assistance may be required for some crafts.
Other than a pair of scissors, each box includes everything needed to make the crafts, even batteries when called for.
Learn about fun and diverse topics from across the continent, from African herbs to African weaving to interesting facts about specific tribes. Lessons are short, simple, and sweet.
A video tutorial is included for each box to make the crafting and learning process easy.
We love giving back and with your support we will be able to. A portion of the proceeds from each box sold is donated to help those in need in Africa and the African diaspora!

A variety of things! One month we could be making a mask inspired by the Punu people of Gabon, another month we could make a wooden spider inspired by the folktale character, Anansi, from Ghana.

Absolutely. However, a little extra adult assistance might be needed. It could be considered a fun project for family time.

The crafts are simple and don't require any expertise. However, minimal adult assistance or supervision may be needed particularly for younger kids. A video tutorial is included for each box.

The box was not designed specifically for girls, however, some of the boxes may focus on crafts that may traditionally appeal more to girls e.g. headbands. For those boxes, you are more than welcome to skip the month.
