Every friggin crystal box sends the same damn crystals, every friggin month!!!! Thank you, I’ve got PLENTY rose quartz, amethyst, pyrite, labradorite, jasper, onyx, clear quartz, citrine, selenite.... & I’m guessing just about ANYONE interested in crystals — collecting them & learning about them— is familiar with these & the other basic, boring, everyday, easily identified & found crystals & gems in this & every other crystal box out there. Seriously, I mean, that’s pretty obvious & logical, right???? I don’t want the stones & crystals I can buy at truck stops & tourist shops... intro me to something I didn’t discover by the age of 10!!!! ESPECIALLY in these more expensive, higher end boxes!!! I’d gladly take fewer obscure pieces over getting 10 rose quartz & amethysts EVERY MONTH!!! (This review is also posted for all those other boxes, too).
Thank you so much for the feedback Shannon :) I wish you had left reviews specific to us instead of the same review for all the boxes you subscribed to, but we do have a big variety in our boxes. Since you've subscribed we have sent Orchid Calcite, Red Jasper, Angel Aura Quartz, Pink Calcite, Strawberry Obsidian, Citrine, Jet, Canada Jade, Lepidolite, Rubellite, Pyrite, Selenite, Rhodonite, Kambaba Jasper, Sea Jasper, Chiastolite, Himalayan Salt, and that's not including additional items that were in various versions of the boxes. We have no way of knowing what crystals or gemstones someone might already have, and we try to mix classics with fun, new finds. We really appreciate the feedback because it does help us grow, and we do...
I think maybe this box would be fine for beginners. I have been collecting rocks for over 30 years, and found that they sent the most basic ones. Maybe you have to have the expensive version to receive anything of quality.
They did refund my money very quickly and were nice about it! 🙂
Thank you for your feedback Melanie, and send a very wide variety of stones, which you experience with an ongoing subscription! This year alone we have done Selenite, Nuummite, Green Amethyst, Blue Quartz, Bronzite, Chiastolite, Rhodonite, Kambaba Jasper, Sea Jasper, Canada Jade, Citrine, Jet, Strawberry Obsidian, Stromatolite, Smoky Quartz, Petrified Wood, Fire Quartz, King Cobra Jasper, Amethyst, Tree Agate, Botswana Agate, Turitella Agate, Hiddenite, Dumortierite, and a few more. So I don't think the box is necessarily for beginners. The Stone of the Month only has 2 stones, and it is a basic subscription which means you would need to be subscribed over a period of time to have any real variety. Whereas the Tumbled Stone Bag subscription has between...
At first I was very impressed, but over the course of a year I got many of the same stones every month. Additionally the quality of the jewellery seemed to decline after the first few boxes. Most of the Jewellery are things I will never use, which makes the box a poor fit for me.
