At Down The Rabbit Hole we define dark books as a book without a happy ending. The books we will choose for you will have scary and dark plots, not so nice protagonists that will leave you questioning the world as it is. There will be no books with happy endings coming from us !

I LOVE THIS! This is very similar to Once Upon a Book Club but with more of a dark/thriller spin. I haven’t been able to dive into the book yet but this looks AMAZING! I would soooo highly recommend for anyone who loves book subs!!
UPDATE: Finished the box and it was AMAZING. The gifts were super well thought out too. Highly recommend!!!

This box was a gift from my husband and I was a little nervous because I like specific genres and authors. I started the book to get to the first surprise and before I knew it I was opening the 4th!! It draws you into the story and I don't want to stop reading. The gifts are perfectly curated. I cannot wait to finish the book and wait on my next month's box! I only received one box. The plate was broken. They fixed that. I never did received the second box. Now they are sending my third box. I am missing the second.

The book is a novel and reads like a novel. I believe myself to be above-average in vocabulary, but found this book to have many, many foreign language references that since I don't speak Greek or French, just went over my head. I was sufficiently interested in the story line to read the entire book. This novel definitely met the definition of "Down the Rabbit Hole." I received a total of 5 gifts with 3 of them actually being a gift, and the the other 2 props from the book. I had really high hopes, but my opinion of this box with the gifts was just okay, and one of the gifts arrived broken. I am trying the December box to "give it a chance."
