- Each box comes filled with envelopes, glossy papers, and PROPS which are actually used in the game. Even the box itself is used, as the illustrations inside become the game board for your adventure!

CURRENT BOX - Escape the Witch Trials
TWO GAMES are in this box. One of them is MERRY and one of them is SCARY! In a family-friendly game, search the streets of Salem during trick-or-treat to see if you can solve the mystery of who is dressed as a witch and is causing mayhem. In the scary game, go back in time to Salem during the witch trials to prove the innocence of a condemned girl. You need to head into the woods to gather evidence and you may come face to face with a real witch in the process!

You can definitely replay the game, but it comes out the same way each time.
They provide instructions for how to "reset" the game and even re-print any materials in case you want to let other friends/family play.

Hello! Yes, that is correct. If you order anytime between now and August 31st, the first box will be "Escape the Genie." If you order anytime between September 1st and October 31st, the first box will be "Escape the Witch Trials." If these are both going to the same person at the same address, it might be easier to order a 4 month (2 box) gift subscription in September. That would ensure that you will get 2 different boxes automatically sent 2 months apart.

This is the best at home escape game. My family and I have completed four so far and love the videos and thought provoking puzzles. I am not a fan of the at home escape games that are just reading and solving. The Escape the Crate boxes have great puzzles and keep us interactive for awhile and the videos are great because we can all hear it instead of passing around clues and reading individually. Awesome and great time with the boxes.

These boxes are so much fun! I have played 4 now - usually with a group of 2-4 people which seems like the right amount so that everyone can be a part of the puzzle solving. You need a laptop to play some audio and to enter clues and view hints. Definitely worth it for an hour of fun on a weekend. I also appreciate that the box can be "reset" so I can share it with someone else once I'm done.

PAST BOX - Escape: Murder in the 80's
TWO murder mysteries await in this box! The year is 1985. A new arcade has opened in town and everyone is there for the opening day. Right before the ribbon is cut for the grand opening, the mayor is found dead in the middle of the arcade.
