Q: Would this be good for a family with kids ages 4-16? Would it bore the 4 year old?Asked by Sarah D., March 2020
Not sure how a 4 year old would do but our 8 year old loved helping out. Even if it was just writing out clues, hints, words or reading the clue he felt very much apart of the adventure and fun!
Q: can you order just one box. Want to see if they enjoy firstAsked by Linda M., April 2020
Yes - I ordered a gift box for my family. You have the option of gifting just one time instead of month after month.
Q: I want to give this subscription as a Christmas gift. How can it be delivered to not spoil the Christmas surprise?Asked by Scott K., December 2019
If you would like the gift to be a surprise, input your email address instead of the recipient’s email address. That way, we will send you tracking information instead of the recipient. Also, if you don’t want it to be delivered to the recipient before Christmas, you can have it shipped to you or another address. Cheers!
Q: Does the box have random difficulty levels each month or does the difficulty levels go in order each month? ( say the 1st month of the year it’s the easiest and then it moves up that scale each month)Asked by Elizabeth B., June 2020
Each month we send the same box to all subscribers so our online community can collaborate and work on the puzzles together. The level of difficulty is according to the box shipped during that month and varies between 3/5 and 5/5.
My husband and I had a lot of fun with this. It’s perfect for an at-home date night, but we also can’t wait until our kids are old enough to enjoy it with us! We can’t wait until our next box comes!
We just finished the Australian box -- our first one. It took about 2 hours and was great family fun! The puzzles are challenging and are a variety of types: word puzzles, visual puzzles, anagrams, math, logic. Very well thought out and organized. ...and we learned a little about the country, too! Worth the price for some quality family time!
We didn’t know what to expect, but we had a lot of fun doing the puzzles together! We decided to spread ours out over 2 nights, so our brains could be fresh for all the riddles . It probably took us 2.5 hours total to complete. Fun stuff!
This is our second box. This was a birthday gift and we had LOTS of fun solving the mystery. We were a little intimidated when we saw it rated as a 3 of 5 with a completion time of 3-5 hours. However we solved the mystery in 2:20!!
Already looking forward to next month!!
So much fun for a family activity. Kids and adults loved it. Everyone was able to contribute something to crack the mystery.
Finders Seekers is a really fun activity that definitely is not too easy nor too difficult.
The items inside the box are always really good quality and make great keepsakes.
Not too hard, not too easy. Just right for several evenings of relaxed problem solving.
This was a lot of fun. The Paris box took four adults 2 hours to complete (the completion time was listed as 2-4 hours), but we do escape rooms often and love solving puzzles. It would be easy to involve children and be a great family game. Everyone had a chance to get involved and use their different skills. Another thing we like about this box is that we could take breaks whenever we wanted and it didn't cause a problem.
This box stepped up my family game night! We had so much fun solving the puzzles. I was really impressed by the little details. Can't wait till next game night!
My husband and I live very busy lifestyles and we get these and spend time working together to complete the puzzles. We are always up to a challenge!!!
