Gave this as a Christmas gift to a 9 year old and she baked hers today. Easy, good practice and fun. She learned a couple of new skills too. She’s not new to the kitchen so she could almost complete the stained glass cookies independently. Love this box! I also got the same for a 12 year old and I’ll check back in after he does his.

I got a subscription to junior whisks for my 11 year old niece for Christmas. I chose this box for a few reasons. She is just getting interested in cooking/baking and junior wisks does a mix of both savory and sweet, the monthly price is very reasonable, and most importantly, each month comes with not only a written recipe card, but also a link to an instructional video. This was very special and important because my niece has dyslexia, so reading can be very difficult and time consuming for her. She received her first box today and video called me immediately. This box was so much better than I even expected or imagined and she is so excited. Her first recipe is for mini chocolate doughnuts and she is so excited. It includes kitchen tools that she can keep and use forever, which I LOVE. Thank you so much to the creators of junior whisks! You are brilliant!
