Q: My son is very creative , he is 14 and not a beginner... what art box would be best for him? I don’t see the differences in the boxes.Asked by Kelly M., August 2019
I don't know enough about the kids' pack to advise on that, even though I think it might be too young for your son, but I do get the Petite Pack. I don't have as much time for art as I'd like, so I don't use up supplies very quickly. For me, the Petite Pack has been ideal because otherwise I would get overwhelmed by art supplies. The Petite Pack would be great for a teen trying...
Q: I purchased this subscription last year for my niece and she loved it. If I order it again, will she receive the same materials or will there be different art supplies this time around?Asked by Regina M., October 2021
The boxes are different every time.
Q: I got my first petite palette full pack today, but I did not get the card with instructions and can’t figure out how to find the video. I’m lost on what to do with these supplies.Asked by Melissa R., June 2021
The "card" is online. Look for the link at the top of our website that says "This Month's Box."
You can also find our videos for the current box and past boxes on our Youtube channel.
Q: I received my first box today, February 1, 2021, but the box is marked “February 2020”. I hope I didn’t get some leftover box that has been lying around for a year!Asked by Natasha B., February 2021
Perhaps look at some reviews to compare if it’s the same.
The watercolor markers seem to be good quality. The colors are vibrant. A bit of a learning curve on how to work with them but they are versatile with how they can be applied. The box also came with a nice pad of watercolor paper.
I bought this for my teen who has taken 3 years of art. There was so much in the box!! Supplies are well worth the price, copiac markers in our set and good quality paper. We have now ordered 3 month subscription. Looking forward to creating new art pieces with supplies. Satisfied momma.
I am so happy with this box! I loved everything so much. Well put together, excellent quality, very helpful to get back at the art thing. My only rating below 5 star was for shipping, for me in Canada it was pricy and timely.
My daughter loves this box. She loves the variety of new medians that she has always wanted to try but never wanted to invest in. Let me just say if you are not sure weather to go for the one with or without the paper, absolutely go with the one with the paper.
It makes the difference!! Unfortunately I am going to have to stop getting these for a while. She is moving into a new house and has other things she needs more than she wants art supplies. We will be back.
This was my first box and I'm beyond thrilled with it! It is raining all day so I'm going to paint some watercolours! I can't wait for my 2nd box now!
I got my first box for August 2023. I chose the premier box, figured I'd pay a bit more to get a bigger box with more items! We'll I was a bit disappointed, but im not giving up yet! I looked at both 3 boxes, the one below the premiere is cheaper and had like the same stuff minus 1 brush! I would expect more in the premiere box then I got, and it would be great to get a letter, paper explaining everything in the box! I'll try 1 more but idk...
Loved our first box. Had fun exploring all the new items. We thought the prompts would be a little more informative, like these pastel pens are best used with... The black book is watercolor friendly... etc. For new artists and artists getting back into the craft, this would be most helpful. There are soo many more products to explore I have no idea where to go.
Love the metallic paints. Been trying them out.
It was really good . I liked what I received.
I loved the cards, I can definitely use them with other art I do. The larger pens were not my favorite. I just don't use pink and blue that much. I felt like I was supposed to send out baby shower cards. The orange and red were more like my choices. Anything I don't use will get passed on to friends.
Our November box introduces you to M. Graham Artist's Oil Colors. Working in small batches, M. Graham crafts oil colors true to the roots of Renaissance painting: delicately free-flowing, solvent-free, and with no fillers or additives. In this box you are presented with the challenge of painting only in black, white, and grey. The box also includes, an artist paint brush, walnut oil, palette knife, and canvases. This month also had a #palettefulgreycontest on Instagram.
