Q: How do I know when my box will ship? I did not see an option to set a time to ship. Asked by Rina S., April 2020
Thank you for your question!
We offer two shipping options for the first SpiceBreeze: (1) 'next week' (your menu might be different from the current box) or (2) the regular shipping 'next month'. This can be selected during your order before the checkout page.

Q: is it possible to change the address the box is sent to in the middle of the subscription period (for instance, if you move to a new address after a couple months)Asked by Samantha K., March 2020
Thanks so much for your question! Yes, of course, you can change the shipping address at any time in your account. All changes made by the end of a month will be applied to the shipping in the following month.

I wanted to say thank you so much. I've been struggling to find gifts to send my parents to cheer them up while I can't visit. My Dad loves to cook, but isn't very adventurous without prompting. They used to go to cooking classes all the time, but now that isn't possible. I think this was just as good. He was the happiest he's been in ages when he called tonight to tell me how it turned out.
Gave as a Xmas gift to my son and daughter in law and after 5 boxes they are still raving. They love the different fresh spices and particularly the recipes (which they send on to me.) As struggling grad students they appreciate the convenience and the novelty of someone else coming up with the answer to that perennial question “what’s for dinner.” The exposure to different food cultures from around the world has been really fun. Thanks for a great product.
I ordered this subscription for my mother who loves using new spices. We've received 2 "boxes" now, and she has enjoyed trying the new varieties! The recipe cards are very helpful to learn how the spices are traditionally used, and exciting new ways to try them. She really looks forward to receiving them in the mail each month! While they are packaged appropriately, it would be nice if the packaging reflected the flair of the spices inside!
So far so good. I bought the Mother's Day set as a gift. It arrived on time and had a variety of spice blends and singles. The packaging was also cute and colorful. My mother has tried the Za'atar on chicken and both her and my father enjoyed it. She also has been using the health blend sprinkled on salads and likes that too. There were recipes as well for each spice and suggestions for use so that is helpful. This is a good gift for someone who likes to cook. The next kit should be on its way now!
I was looking for a little gift for my wife, someone who is always shopping for herself. When I found SpiceBreeze I thought, “this might be cool”. Inevitably most of my gifts fail but when she opened the curated spice box she was surprised and delighted. A much better reaction than I figured on. Good idea if you know someone who likes to cook! Thanks all
I bought this box as a 60th birthday present for my father, and it's his new favourite thing. He wanted to order it for himself, after his very first box. I would recommend this to anyone looking to get something unique for the amateur chefs in their life!
I am always so happy when I open my mailbox and the smell of the spices hits me on a hot day. I love the variery in the recipes, and the ease of making them. My family, and Facebook friends all think I'm an amazing cook with this up my sleeve!
DELICIOUS. Fresh. Filled with flavour. We have already made all 4 recipes suggested. And we couldn't be happier. Can't wait for the next batch.
We got a really nice set of spices that are unique. I was able to make a dish that night because I have everything else on hand from the recipe card. It was a lot of fun to try something new.
Select shipping 'next week' at the checkout for this menu: (1) Ochazuke is a light one-bowl dish with rice submerged in green tea, hot or cold. It's wonderfully juicy and refreshing. Of course, we have a non-tea option. Sprinkle Furikake sesame-roasted-seaweed seasoning on top or on any dish where you want to add an Asian flavor note. (2) For 'shepherd style' tacos, the meat is marinated in a traditional adobo-paste and topped with pineapple or another tropical fruit.
The April recipes are extremely versatile. They can be perfectly adapted to your taste preferences and availability of ingredients. (1) Assemble delicious toppings on a base of rice. Drizzle with a sauce made with our blend from red miso and Shiitake mushrooms. Bonus: Learn to ferment vegetables. (2) Use the popular Middle Eastern spice blend Za'atar for roasted meat or vegetables, or on pizza, dippings, and so on. The complex flavor will brighten your day!
In March, you are invited to visit homes in a small country in Africa. The tomato stew contains big loads of green spinach and fried chicken or beef. That's the kind of comfort food that you can't stop eating. We just love it! The 2nd dish is quickly baked in the oven with a popular green Mediterranean spice blend. Can you guess it? Bonus: Boost the nutritional value of any dish with a sample of a trendy green leave - and the color too. Ready for St. Patrick's Day?
