Q: I don't understand this. I thought that the postcard was going to be the record. I got 3 pieces a postcard, the record, and a picture. how am I supposed to mail this to my daughter as a postcard?Asked by Mary D., June 2020
The postcards are more of a novelty to have a personal handwritten message from the artist that is being featured that month. I believe if you want your daughter to receive these you'll need to change the address on Cratejoy.
in the photo it looks like the postcard and the record are one item. you put the postcard on the record player. This is not the case. I understand that I'm going to have to mail it to her but how do I do that with 3 pieces? Can't be mailed as a postcard.
I don't have an answer for this question, but I was confused too. Maybe you have to mail the record itself? What looks like an actual postcard isn't good for mailing because the writing it so big. Maybe the postcard isn't actually meant to be mailed to someone??
Q: Having a problem with this playing on my crosley it seems to be too small. Anybody else?Asked by Julie G., March 2020
Crosley Turntables are known to have this issue where they auto-return too early. Luckily, there's a really quick and easy fix. Here's a video explaining it. Copy and paste this youtube code in your browser: "W4fU7yf6FFg" or google "Crosley auto return fix". Sorry, it wouldn't let me post the URL.
These have been wonderful. I don't have a record player myself but I've been sending them to friends during covid as a nice way to brighten their day and they've loved it. Very cute and creative.
This was a wonderful experience at a not very high cost! The seller was wonderful and prompt with responses. 10/10 would recommend!
This was such a fun gift and great idea but the packaging isn’t great which means the majority of the postcards arrive too bent to actually play. Would consider trying again if packaging was improved.
If all of their playable vinyl postcards are like this first one, this is the best crate ever. New bands who appreciate any support they get. Hand written notes on the back. I plan to go back and get the vinyl I missed. You also get a download of the song if that's your thing. Can't miss, especially at this price.
Hala (pronounced haw-luh) is the performance moniker of Detroit-based musician Ian Ruhala. Ruhala's music is at once precise and playful, skipping breezily between decades and their attendant musical aesthetics while executing them with care and sincerity. On his studio debut Red Herring, Ruhala elevates this formula, applying his genre-agnostic blueprint to a set of songs that comprise a no-concept concept record: a varied LP which explores the tragedy and...
