According to some reports , studies show that 77% of wealth is created by owning a business. While Black people make up almost 15% of the American population, in 2019, only 2.3% of businesses were black-owned. While there are many ways to support the fight for racial equity and social justice, an immediate way to challenge these norms is to support Black-owned businesses, both locally and online. And by purchasing a Black-owned subscription box, you’ll receive goodies at your door while continuing to bolster minority-owned businesses month after month.

But, one of the most important lessons to remember is that the work of antiracism is just that — continued work. One never "arrives" as an antiracist, and one should continually work to keep racial equity and social justice at the forefront of their life — daily.
