THE STORRIOR BOX

The Storrior Box is a monthly subscription box for screenwriters, playwrights, TV, comic book, and narrative podcast writers. In other words, dramatic writers of all shapes and sizes. I, myself, am a dramatic writer, most recently on Queen of the South for USA Network, and Silver City for Aftershock comics. When I was first starting out, however, I had no idea what I was doing. I ended up earning an MFA from Tisch School of the Arts in dramatic writing, which was great, but earned me over 200,000 dollars worth of student debt. Writers in the dramatic arts shouldn't have to sacrifice their livelihood and financial well being for the sake of their career. Additionally, dramatic writer shouldn't be relegated to screenwriting or playwriting only, but should feel encouraged to explore other mediums, genres, and deserve a consistent flow of support, inspiration, industry insight, learning tools and tips to build and sustain a career. That's why I'm creating The Storrior Box. It's the subscription box I wish I had ten years ago, and one I hope will usher in a new generation of dramatic writers with greater tools and access than I ever had. - Sincerely, Olivia Cuartero-Briggs
