I am a huge fan of Cate & Chloe so I was thrilled with the chance to try the sampler pack. It comes in a beautiful pink box filled with gray flowered tissue paper. Inside my box were a beautiful pair of earrings and a blush beauty product. The earrings are silver colored and have a 1/4" stone with a 1/3" CZ stone dangling from a hook. Each one really sparkles and shines with movement. Perfect for a night out or more casual outing. Comes in a nice gift box for storage or gifting. I love them. The buildable blush is made by Manna Kadar is a darker pink that can be used for a highlight or regular blush. It is too dark for me but fit my sisters skin tone perfectly. I like the sample box and getting a surprise monthly. I would recommend it for people into jewelry.

The only con I saw was with the claw clasp and end chain is hard to connect. I am 64yrs old and have some arthritis in my fingers but this one was still so small it was hard to get it to close in on the small end chain. I can put a circle on the end chain so then the claw clasp will be easier to grab it and it will be fine. Love this necklace.

My review is specific to the communication effort that this company is lacking. If you plan to cancel your account be prepared to have to fight for it. They will not respond to phone calls or emails. I had to call my credit card company and dispute charges as the instructions provided on their website is not correct about canceling my subscription. Very frustrating! Not the company or quality of service I would recommend.

I started with the sampler to get an idea of what they would be offering. The sample box is just that, a sample. There's one necklace with a surprise gift from an upcoming partner.
A little about my box!
My sample arrived in the cutest pink box! Upon opening the first thing you see is the floral, girly tissue paper. Once you open that you'll see a few information cards explaining to you what you recieved. My box came with the sweetest, dainty heart necklace that will pare nicely with any outfit. Its sure to give you a classy look no matter how you wear it. Whether it be a pretty dress or just a shirt with jeans.
This months subscription came with a beautiful lip stain in the color "Pebble". It's described as an orange-red, but I found that on my skin color it was more of a reddish nude color. Its beautiful and I'm seriously thinking about grabbing a Laritzy cosmetics subscription box as well!

The pieces are pretty. However, the value is low. It strikes me as odd that on their website, pieces are often marked down a shocking amount. For example, there's a pair of earrings right now that retail for $119, but are on sale for $20, which makes me question why they would sell the piece for $119 to begin with. It seems like the pieces they put in their boxes are always off of their for sale page, so things they didn't sell and just need to get rid of. There are nicer jewelry subscriptions for the same price. Save your money.

I guess I've been spoiled by BoxyCharm where I get well over what I pay out. This box was WELL UNDER what I paid out. I spent $30 and this Cate & Chloe box is worth no more than $10. I got 1 beauty item (face illuminator ??) and 2 pieces of fairly cheap jewelry. BoxyCharm I spend $22 and get over $120 in products. Not expecting that from every box subscription but I should at least feel like I'm getting my money's worth. Cate & Chloe sucks!!
