I've been a subscriber for over a year now to the bigger gemstone box. My first box was fabulous... big agate bookends, lots of really nice stones. Since then, some boxes are better than others and there are some duplicates from time to time, but on average there is usually one specialty type of stone (carved, palm, pyramid, spiral, etc.), a few medium sized stones and a few smaller stones. It's a nice box most months. Each stone comes packaged in its own little box, and there are papers included with describe the property of the stones. I think that it's one of the better subscription boxes for gemstones, so I don't want to give low stars. Within the last six months, I have noticed that I sometimes get a stone that is different than the description. Last month, the descriptions were not included, but the company emailed them to me after I requested them. This month, the box was very small, all stones were small, there were, again, no descriptions included, and the the stones were wrapped in tissue paper instead of in their own boxes. This is not typical for this subscription box, so I'm wondering what is happening. Is COVID-19 affecting the supply?
I really loved receiving my packages and my Aqua Aura Quartz pendant is beautiful but my citrine ring came with the stone fallen out of the sterling silver. I realize this was probably because of shipping and I did just fix it myself putting the stone back in place and tightening the metal around it. I was overall happy with the packages anyways so Thank you for your time!❤️😊
