We have ordered every single box from this website over the past 3 years. We love each and every box. BUT we have seen a very sad downhill slide over the past 6 months. We cannot reach anyone lately and we are still waiting on 2 boxes that we ordered 3 weeks ago, as well as missing parts from another incomplete box we received before that. Our Valentine’s box WAS FIXED and we DID receive prompt communication on that box back in January. I love the boxes but what the heck is going on with communication and WHERE IS MY ORDER?
I'm not one to complain and I tried to resolve this first but others need to know. The first box I got was incorrect and I never heard back from the seller directly. I had to go through Cratejoy who told me the seller would make it right. I never got a replacement box. The next box took a long time to actually get to me. The box itself was OK but I'm not sure it's worth the price and definitely not worth all the other trouble. I paid for 3 boxes but only got one correct box. I was excited for this as a gift but am very disappointed, especially in the lack of communication. It's really frustrating to never hear back. I understand Christmas time is busy so I tried to be patient but here we are in March and still only one box.
Never got anything
This box is 100% not worth the price. The ideas themselves are cute, however the actual box includes dollar store items that I already have in my house. One box that we got included a snack that was a ziplock baggie someone filled with trail mix. This is highly unsanitary. Our first box was also more than a month late. Super disappointing- I would not recommend this box and won’t be buying any more.

My review? My review is that this entire site is terrible! I placed an order on December 19th and was told I would have the product for Christmas. When it didn't arrive for Christmas, I reached out. I have been through the automated process multiple times. I've sent messages. I've received emails from someone in some customer service area guaranteeing that my product has been shipped, and then shipped again. I've received nothing. For two months. Now, I can't reach anyone. Everyone is ignoring my emails and I still haven't received my product. I am furious! They will not correct their mistake. At this point, I just want my money back, but can't even get an answer on that.
Thank you for providing your feedback. Once your package leaves our warehouse we are at the mercy of the postal service. Once we became aware of the issue, we immediately shipped another box. During this time, we sent your box on three different occasions at our expense only to have it returned by the sender. Ultimately, we provided you a refund and are sorry you had a negative experience.
I ordered a box in December that I never received and my attempts to cancel my subscription before the January box were ignored by the seller. When I reached out to cratejoy for help they told me that since the January box was marked as shipped (still haven’t received it by the way) that there was nothing they could do for me. Absolutely ridiculous!
Received 1 box. Other box has been in transit for almost 2 week now. Based on other reviews not sure I will get it.
The original product was very disappointing, I had no intention of renewing. A renewal was inappropriately submitted, which took weeks to cancel. Now, months after cancellation Im out $300 with no communication, no refund and no product that I didnt want to begin with.
Bought the six month box option for my husband in July, they sent the first box no problem but the second month box didn't come. Wrote to customer service and they sent us one for the third month, as expected, though they said this was the "replacement" for month 2. Never got month 3's box then, or month 4... Wrote again, got November's box and now it's January and we haven't gotten anything further. This is a scam, do not buy, they will not give you what you pay for, very disappointed especially having spent half a weeks pay on this gift. Love the idea, feel we were duped by the execution.
I tried to work with this seller. They completely ignored me. So here is my review. Stay away. My first box had straws, tiny cards and a few random things. It’s not worth it. I asked to stop my subscription and still pay for the box I had. No response. In fact, I got my second box. It’s the same exact box as the first box.

I will not order anything from crate joy again. I have been charged 4 times for this box and have only received 1 box. I have message the seller with no reply. HORRIBLE experience.
Update: Seller contacted me saying sorry it was the carriers fault and they will send new boxes. Even sent me a copy of the shipping label. That was over 2 weeks ago. Just tracked the package and USPS never received. Now they are printing labels to give you a tracking number but not sending the package. SCAM, SCAM SCAM
Placed an order more than 2 weeks ago, ordered a 6 month subscription and 2 mystery boxes, the mystery boxes were supposed to ship in 3-5 business days. Still haven't received them. I have reached out multiple times and never heard back. Such a scam.

I ordered a 3 month subscription. Only received one box. Then I get a message about renewing subscription. I message them and say I have yet to receive 2 of the 3 boxes I already paid for. No answer and I get charged for another 3 month subscription. Messaged them again requesting cancellation and refunds for all the boxes never received. Yet to hear from company.
The one box we did receive was a good time. Wish we would’ve received all the boxes.
Will update if they ever respond to me regarding the missing boxes and refund.
We are experiencing terrible customer service and no ability to speak to anyone on the phone or get competent answers. We were sent boxes that had not been sent but again have gone 2 months without receiving our monthly box. I have also asked to receive a list of boxes that have gone out this year to confirm we have gotten them all with no response. We are asking to speak with someone on the phone and would like a full refund because we have not received what we are paying for and it has gotten to be completely unacceptable. I expect a response asap.

I received my first box and it was alright but I have not received my second box. I payed for three boxes and I have only received one. I don’t think that after my subscription is over I will be buying more.
This hasn't been a bad box. My boyfriend and I have enjoyed the ones we have received. I was paying for a 3 month subscription. The problem is since my last renewal, I haven't received a box. The last box I received was on April 25th. I never received and email or tracking info for my May shipment. And now it's almost time for June boxes to be shipping out. I have emailed the company and failed to receive a response. So I emailed them a second time. If I don't receive a response to this email, I will be canceling my subscription and filing to get my money back from my last reneweal.

This was such a cute box! It was a really fun way for my husband and me to get some real quality time celebrating Valentine's Day. We loved it!
I can’t believe this was fifty dollars. The popcorn alone was eaten by my daughter in one minute.
This box was different from what we were expecting. We were looking for a fun, light-hearted date night but this box seems very heavy and thought-provoking. The contents also seem pretty cheap for how expensive the box is.
Was very basic nothing exciting , I can’t validate how it cost $40!!! Will not order again.
