I was given a subscription as a gift. This is probably not for the artist that has a lot of supplies but is a wonderful idea for a beginning artist or non-artist to create a project. I have to say I was disappointed to receive 4 markers all in yellow shades, for this month, with a blender. They should have sent a more workable color. So far I already have most of the supplies sent.

I was really excited to get my first box. Even more excited to open it and find Golden paints, molding paste, and medium in the box along with Catalyst blades and a Catalyst brush. I can't wait to break it open and have fun with the deep 5 x 7 canvas that also came in the box. Lots of goodies - great value for the money.

Let me start by saying the quality was great. However, i just hate working with pastels of any kind. I haven't used them since i was probably 10... the paper samples were pretty cool... I guess.. they are tiny .. I'm over all underwhelmed with this month's box. I went ahead and upgraded hoping to get more bang for my buck and praying there are no pastels in it. Oil or otherwise.

Every month I’m pretty satisfied with the products, not so much with this box to me it was more of a craft box with the marbling kit and not really an artist box . Loved the Mixed Media paper and wood panels though.

I made a vow upon subscribing that I would use only (or mostly) the box's contents to create two pieces---a before, and an after. The whole month after opening this box, and prior to opening the next, will be practice practice practicing!
I just opened the most recent crate (no spoilers from me!) and I am ECSTATIC! I can feel myself getting inspired and motivated even as I examine the items individually!

We'd had a lot of rain in our area for a couple of days. Unfortunately, my May Paletteful Box was coming in the mail at the same time. When I got it, the cardboard box was soaked through and effected the contents. Most of the supplies were fine but one thing got wet and a little warped. Won't say what. No spoiler alert here. So I let customer service know about what happened and they immediately answered and within just a couple of days I found a replacement in my mailbox. Talk about customer service. And btw, the supplies were great. All artist grade. Thank you!

I contacted the company and they told me it could take a week for a new one to be sent but that they were working on it. I loved the second box, and loved that it had several options for the same product. The quality of the items sent were also excellent. First of all, the customer service is terrible. I sent a message, and it took them couple weeks to replay back to me..
And the products we've received are not worth of what we pay for.
I can just go get them at a craft store for a lot better price.
Overall, I would not recommend this site to anyone.

The MSRP for that box was $39.59 and included items that are not currently available in stores. That being said, we understand that some items might be priced more cheaply at another store.
