I am obsessed with this box!! I just received my second box, and both have been wonderful. The books and guided journals are perfect, and the t-shirts are buttery soft. The other items are great quality, beautiful, and useful as well. I also have to commend her customer service. I was missing two of the items from the November box, so I sent an email to inquire about them. I almost immediately got a reply from Sylvia saying she would send me my missing items on Monday (today is Saturday). Wonderful customer service, and an amazing box with quality items. I loved the book, Brave Surrender. So far, I am finding the book, Counted With the Stars, to be a good read. The treats were a nice touch but not something I would use (coffee pods and various candy). The package included a study guide book, a recipe, and a devotional/brief article(?). It was fun to open the package and see what all it came with as it was a gift from my daughter for mother's day.

Not sure if it's because I ordered a 1 time box, but the books didn't seem to have a person of interest nor a common theme. I also received a mixture of encouragement post cards. I did enjoy the curator's personal story and cookbook. Overall wasn't what I saw advertised, yet the value of the books more than made up for the one time cost.

Update: Taylor sent me a box of books to replace the duplicates I received! I am overwhelmed by her generosity. This came at the perfect time. I fell this afternoon and broke my shoulder. I will probably need surgery but either way, I will be out of commission for weeks, if not months. I can’t wait to start reading the new books and would like to keep my subscription, if possible. Good but I'm a little perplexed, because it doesn't seem to be what is advertised. Originally gave this a 5 star review, thinking that maybe what I received was a little off because of the timing. But now I'm genuinely confused having received my second box. I got 3 books, which alone have a value of more than what I paid for the box (THAT'S AWESOME... although there's no way I can keep up the pace of reading to get through those in a month). They are all things I'm excited to read, but there doesn't appear to be any detectable or otherwise explained "woman from the Bible" theme. I also received another notepad, a pen, a very cheap looking key chain, and 2 rolls of candy. I emailed directly and sent a message through CrateJoy, but so far haven't received responses to either. What drew me to this and what I loved in the first box was the Biblical encouragement. This seemed like just books and stuff thrown into a bag, very different than some of the boxes pictured and noted in the 5 star reviews. Those are really what I was hoping to get. Holding out hope that they will get back on track.

As a Christmas gift this year, my son gave me a series of three boxes. I've just received the second box, and I could not be happier with the books. This box had two books, Delilah and Women of the Bible. Both are so well written - I know I will read them again and share them with a friend. It has been so much fun to receive them and find the extra items enclosed with the books - Loved the Sunflower seeds! Of course, in Colorado the lip moisturizer is a very welcome addition! Many thanks for these beautiful books. Am already looking forward to receiving the next box!

Although I loved the idea of this box, it is nothing like the description. In 2 months, which I prepaid for 3 unfortunately, I have yet to receive a "hot off the press" new release, no candles or relaxation items besides a satchet of lavender if you want to put that in the category. Also only 1 of the 4 books have been about a woman in the Bible. The last 2 books have obviously come from some big box store as the sticky residue from the price tags completely ruined the corner of the books. I tried to keep an open mind and usually am not disappointed in these kinds of boxes as they usually keep true to their descriptions. I had high hopes for this since the description says new releases. I read a lot so that was important to me so that I don't get books I have already read but, every book I have received have been old books which 3 of the 4 I have already read. Just overall disappointed.

For several months this was my favorite subscription, while I was with cratejoy. The first box I received directly from Grace and Delilah was very disappointing. I received books and nothing else, used and damaged books at that. I contacted Gave and Delilah to address it and received no response. However, when I emailed to cancel, within hours I received a response saying it was done. That was a month ago. A week ago I received a notification that my account was charged by Grace and Delilah, Emailed them, they said I would get a refund. Instead I received an email saying my box was being shipped. Again emailed them with no response. Poor Customer Service and highly unethical!. BBB will be hearing from me.
