First, the company wasn't aware of our subscription. After I contacted them, the box was shipped and arrived fairly quick; however, I'm really disappointed with what my daughter received. It does not seem curated for a 6 year old girl.
Update: The response and customer service regarding the mixup was outstanding. I'm happy with the subscription.

I love this box and I think it’s a great deal for the price you pay vs the retail value of items! It has made great last minute gifts!!! My only qualm with this subscription is the shipping. I believe they ship out of Canada (?) and I’m in Arizona, so maybe that has something to do with it - but the first box I ordered, the tracking was messed up. The number wouldn’t pop up in CrateJoy, then when I typed it in manually, it gave me the wrong info (basically no movement until it showed up in my mailbox.) Ok, fine, probably just a USPS issue. Well then this second box, never even had a tracking! It still says “your box will arrive soon” when it actually arrived last week.
It’s not a big deal for some, but for where we live, we are dealing with a lot of mailbox break ins. The convenience of knowing when my box will arrive is great because I don’t have to worry about it getting stolen. So, not knowing at all, is a big bummer. I will say tho, that the seller was gracious when I contacted them the first time - and assured me my box was in transit.
So overall a good box! But not worth it to me with the shipping issues/having to worry about if it will get stolen.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! My daughter has LOVED this box since the first day she got it. She was 6 when i got it as a birthday present for her and now she�s turning 8 and she is still so excited to receive her monthly box! Out of several boxes I have gotten for her, this is the only one that has continued for more than just a few months because of how wonderful it is. It is filled with great items that are very well curated for the age and interests of the time... in fact, as I recall when she got her November box, I was upset at myself for not making her wait to open it till Christmas because when she opened it up, it was filled with items that were so well picked out for her that it was like Santa sent a sample box or what she was getting for Christmas! Hahaha! We love this box and my daughter is constantly asking when it is arriving. Now that she is turning 8 and I switched the age range on the box, I can�t wait to see what the new boxes have in store for her. I just love seeing her little eyes light up when she gets it and discovers what�s inside.

UPDATE DECEMBER 2021 got the box again really really disappointed in the pickings my son wouldn't use a single thing in his box I got two of the same thing in my daughter's . Definitely not going for it next year disappointed truly waste of money for this round .
