My name is Andrea. I created "Reading Infusion" to supplement my income. I have a very rare terminal illness and my disability just doesn't pay the bills (don't worry, I know the rules and I am keeping it 100% legal 😀). I have been sick since I was 19 years old (I am 45 now) and have been diagnosed with everything under the sun. One day, I was ULTRA frustrated and told my Neurologist that I couldn't live like this anymore. He finally ran a blood test for a very rare antibody and it came back positive. So 5 years ago I was FINALLY diagnosed. It felt good to be validated after so many doctors gave up on me, but it wasn't what I was hoping for. I have Stiff-Person's Syndrome (think Celine Dion) and it is not walk in the park. I am trying to stay alive, let alone keep my head above water. I came up with this idea while out thrifting one day. So many beautiful old antique teacups that deserved another life. And books deserve many lives, so I married the two and voilà Reading Infusion was born. Expect great teas and extras along with you teacup and saucer, and a good book, every month. The name is kind of tounge in cheek as I get IVIG medical infusions every two weeks.
