This time we selected tea leaves from Menghai County, Xishuangbanna, Yunnan, China, & beyond! There are seasonal rainforests and semi-evergreen monsoon rainforests in the territory, and the air humidity is high, which plays a role in nourishing the tea trees. Menghai County is the earliest tea producing place in China, with a wild "tea tree king" and numerous ancient tea tree groups from 1700 years ago. Rooted deep in the mountains, it draws the essence of minerals and does not require artificial watering and fertilization. The tea grows in all year round wet, cloudy, deep soil, fertile land, no pollution, no pesticides in the primeval forest.
