What is Cratejoy

Cratejoy is a marketplace of small businesses and makers, independent sellers who share their passions through curated subscription boxes and one‑time finds. Every shop on Cratejoy runs their own store, set shipping schedules and billing cycles, and ship with care.

When you shop here, you’re supporting entrepreneurs and discovering thoughtfully curated products you won’t find everywhere: self‑care rituals, creative kits, foodie favorites, book picks, gifts, and more.

Subscriptions & one-time orders

How do subscriptions work

A subscription is a recurring delivery curated by the seller. Renewal dates, shipping schedules, and what’s inside vary by seller and are listed on each product page.

What is the difference between a subscription and a one-time order
  • Subscription: renews automatically on the cadence you choose (e.g., monthly or quarterly) until canceled.
  • One‑time purchase: a single, non‑recurring order.
When will I be charged

Each seller outlines their billing and shipping cycle on the product page. Typically you’re charged at purchase, and again on the renewal date for ongoing subscriptions.

Can I cancel or pause a subscription

You can cancel anytime from your account under Manage subscriptions. If you cancel, you’ll still receive any boxes you’ve already paid for. Pausing isn’t available, but you can cancel and reactivate whenever you’re ready.

Gifting

How do I buy a gift without starting a subscription

On product pages, choose Give as a gift. Gift orders are non‑recurring. Some sellers let you pick a gift length (e.g., 1, 3, or 6 shipments).

Will my gift auto‑renew

No. Gift orders do not renew. Only subscriptions renew automatically until canceled.

Can I include a gift message

Many sellers support gift notes or printable certificates. Check the product page for details.

Shipping & delivery

Who ships my order

Each seller manages their own packaging and shipping. Ordering from multiple sellers? You’ll receive separate shipments.

When will my order ship

Shipping timelines vary by seller. Most ship on a set schedule (e.g., the first week of the month). Look for the seller’s shipping policy on the product page.

What if my order is lost or damaged

We’re here to help. Contact the seller from your order details, or email support@cratejoy.com and we’ll assist.

Do sellers ship internationally

Some do. Check the product page for shipping availability outside the U.S.

Accounts & payments

How do I manage my subscriptions

Log into your account and open Manage subscriptions. You can cancel or reactivate, update payment methods, change addresses, and view order history.

What payment methods are accepted

Cratejoy accepts major credit and debit cards.

How do I use a promo code

Enter your discount code at checkout. Cratejoy and individual sellers offer promotions throughout the year.

Refunds & returns

Can I get a refund

Refunds and returns are set by each seller’s policy (listed on the product page). If you need help, email support@cratejoy.com and we’ll coordinate with the seller.

From your account, open Order history or Manage subscriptions, choose your order, and select Contact seller.
