August 2016 focused on graphite! First we included the Faber-Castell Pitt master graphite set. This premium graphite set features a selection of Pitt graphite products to experience a range of different drawing mediums. Next we included a Cretacolor Water-Soluble Graphite #8B. Use the water brush from your July box to add washes or blend! We also included a really high quality, durable blending stump from cretacolor to allow you to create smooth transitions between shades. We also included a Cretacolor Monolith Eraser - these durable, soft, white erasers are made from genuine India rubber. They work perfectly to remove, correct and retouch graphite drawings. Next we included a General Pencil art gum eraser. This classic style eraser is perfect for quick cleanup and will lift out most dry media like graphite, charcoal and pastel without scratching or tearing. Next up is a General’s Pencil large kneaded eraser, a must have for any artist's arsenal. This allows you to mold the eraser to a point and add highlights. We also included a General Pencil sketch and wash pencil. These pencils are specially formulated to work well with water to create unique effects.
