Every book is a journey into a new life where you can see places, meet people, learn lessons, find meanings, and make memories. Booked Traveler Box enhances the literary journey, and will help you remember all the best parts long after the last page. Each box will include 1 book paired with beautiful and useful 'souvenirs' to open as you read.- High quality new or recent releases in hardcover or paperback from a variety of genres. (Books are selected for an adult audience, primarily women authors and women main characters, will be sure to include #OwnVoices and Diverse authors too!)
- At least 3, but usually more, 'souvenirs' to open while you read. These items will be high quality, beautiful, and useful, pulled from the pages or inspired by some element of the book.
- 'Souvenirs' will typically be substantive items such as home goods, decorative pieces, self-care essentials, and travel treats (food/beverages). Whenever possible we will buy from and feature the work of small businesses and artisans. Occasionally, 'souvenirs' may include items such as artwork, quote cards, or replicas of mementos mentioned in the text (letters, posters, etc.). The paper goods would be in addition to the minimum of 3 substantive items!
- 'Souvenirs' will typically be packed in re-usable packaging and marked with when to open them. A reading guide will also remind you! The reading guide will include 'extras' such as author information, online book discussion dates, and unboxing challenges for prizes!
- Whenever possible, we will also include book plates and author interaction. However, we do not want to exclude authors who may not be able to commit to such activities, so we cannot guarantee these components. Finally, we will donate a portion of the profits from each box to a charity that aligns with the book of that box. Charities/donations will be announced monthly via our social media!

May-June 2021-Island Tides and Interrupted Lives
The setting: A Pacific Island wrought with political strife. Our main character is a humble woman, raised to dive for pearls. Soon, the life she knew begins to slip away. As the violence of war gets closer, she must learn how to survive and thrive, even if life will ultimately look quite different than she had planned. The story of this incredible woman is supported by a colorful cast of characters and interwoven with beautiful descriptions of the island's culture.
July-August 2021-Crossroads and New Directions
The Setting: English Waterways. Two women cross paths at a crossroads in each of their lives. When they encounter a third who is also in a predicament, they work together to hatch a plan. The two take to the water, and the other takes to the land. As their journeys float along, they each find new insights and directions. This 'slice of life' story gives a glimpse into life in a lesser known part of the English countryside.
Sept-Oct 2021-"Hi-ways and Bye-ways"
The Setting: Across the U.S.A. For the past year, our main character has been grieving the loss of her family in a tragic accident. Upon finding a message they left behind, she sets out on a journey. What seems to be a sightseeing road trip turns into so much more. November-December 2021 "Dangerous Elements and Dubious Compatriots"
The Setting: Various—Western Trails, Northern Frontiers, and an East Coast Courtroom. When a group of women are sent on an expedition and rescue mission, not all return.
