This is the 7" single of JW Ridley's "Blitz", with the excellent "1990" as a B-side. On "Blitz", a driving drumbeat and silky guitar tones bring to mind artists like The Cure and Cocteau Twins, but with a pace all his own. "1990" is a more tender piano ballad channeling the sweeter side of Nick Cave.
