Founded by a survivor of violence, New Dawn Fields is a small farm located in Northern Michigan. They plant, harvest, and clean all of their garlic by hand. In The Savoury Side box, we included 3 of their fantastic garlic varieties, hand-selected for our subscribers by Farmer Carol.

• ❤️ German Red – Generally considered to set the standard for “true” garlic flavour. Full bodied, strong, and spicy. Very aromatic.
• 💜 Purple Glazer – An absolute favourite for baking and roasting. Strong flavour with no heat. Satiny texture.
• 💚 Bogatyr – One of the spiciest varieties, but heat diminishes quickly with little aftertaste. Works well in heavily spiced dishes.
