Q: What is the suggested age range for this subscription? I have a 9 year old. Thanks!Asked by Olivia H., June 2019
Hi Olivia! Our kits are designed for families with children ages 3-9.
From freedom and family to strawberries and sunshine, we had so much to celebrate in July! This kit featured 3 star-spangled crafts, a patriotic puzzle, 4 recipes, a paper place setting, a whimsical garland, 4 coloring pages—and even taught little-known facts about the holiday and Lady Liberty.
To celebrate Cinco de Mayo, we made old traditions new again and kept the fiesta going all month long! Kids made traditional Mexican baleros, paper bag pinatas, musical egg maracas, and papel picado party flags. They played a silly game called "Spill the Beans!" and learned about Mexico's history.
In April, kids celebrated spring by making a bunny mask disguise, a chick squeezy ball, and tape-resist color-block eggs. They learned easy Easter recipes and got their wiggles out with a silly "eggs-ercises" game. The kit even included special table settings and exclusive hand-drawn coloring pages.
Everyone's Irish on St. Paddy's Day! Wee ones celebrated by making a pair of leprechaun lookers, an oil-pastel rainbow hanging, a whimsical banner, and a foolproof trap for a devious leprechaun. Plus: pinch-proof tattoos, rainbow snack recipes, and pretty paper place settings for a special snack.
January is all about the New Year, and these kits helped kids reflect on their successes of 2018 and set goals for 2019—and make 3 wintry crafts in between. They also featured healthy snack recipes for January’s fresh start, celebratory place settings, coloring pages, and a fun family dinner game.
Kids painted puffy snowmen, made a tissue-paper wreaths, melted Christmas star ornaments, and crafted candy-striped paper chains to hang. Plus: they set a special table for Santa, played a festive game, put on cheerful tattoos, learned 12 ways to spread holiday cheer—and more!
