The bag our titles are shipped in is a bubble mailer for added protection. And, some months when the publisher has them available, we ship signed copies.

Q: on some reviews with pictures, they show the extra goodies, which are 2 bookmarks, a print, and a couple pins. but other reviews said they received candles, tea, bathbombs, etc. why is that?Asked by Maya P., August 2021

This is a fun 'box' that isn't too expensive. As I only received it today, I haven't read the book yet, but it looks good and has good reviews, and the bookmarks are nice. I'm not really a button person, but those who are will love them. I'm not interested in the next book so I canceled for now, but I'd definitely consider resubscribing in the future.

The product is great, I only wish the bookmarks/pins matched the book! I don't have any sort of sentimental connection to the author of the extras; it would be a lot more meaningful if the bookmark had a quote from the book I'm about to read. Just a suggestion for you guys as you develop this box.
(For reference I received Blood Like Magic by Liselle Sambury but all the extras were quotes from Stephanie Garber.)

The book I received for June 2021 was a great choice and I'm looking forward to reading it! The bookmarks were nice and the artwork as well. The only complaint I have with this box is the way it was packaged. The pin that was included made a lot of indentations on the dust jacket. I think the pin should have been wrapped in something to prevent this or not included at all in a paper package. I'd rather not get a pin than have a damaged book. But other than that, I think this is an excellent subscription!

Just got my first box. I love it. It's a nice-sized, hardcover book. I love bookmarks at all times and the extra's are just so nice. I wish the packaging could be better. My dust jacket is a little crinkled in the corners and an actual box for shipping might be better. I'm was a little confused about how subscription renewals work, but I've reached out in a message right before I started this review and I have already gotten a reply. Amazing!

Ordered the YA fantasy box. There was no box it was iterally in a packaging envelope. It took two months and two days to arrive. The book marks didnt relate to the book, nor did the card with a quote on it. Overpriced considering the book store is two minutes drive from my house and I could get the book for $20 versus the $59.80 converted price for the YA box, the difference in price is hardy worth the book marks and card quote item that dont even relate to the actual book that was sent.

I was excited when I found this because my daughter loves fantasy books and this subscription isn't bogged down by all the "extra's" with an extra price tag and things she will never use. I purchased this on May 6th. A day before the cut off date so I should be receiving June's book right? Well then I was charged AGAIN on May 22nd. I sent an email off asking why I was charged twice. The only thing I received was a refund notification. No return email addressing the problem (if there was one), no indication that I was going to receive June's book (I hope I am as I paid for it). Just horrible communication overall. I'm going to give the company a little while longer until I cancel, just to see if I do in fact get June's book, but if it's not received by the next billing cycle, I have to cancel. Lack of communication and sketchy business practices.
