Q: What is the recommended age for this? My 13 year old grandson dreams of being in the FBI, and I like your box because it looks more elegant than a kid’s game. But will it be too graphic?Asked by Teresa M., August 2022
Hi there! Thank you so much for your question. Our game is definitely not graphic. That said, there are mature themes that may not be for every family or kid. Our first story takes place on a college campus so some of those themes include swearing, underage drinking, sex, and abortion. Everything is referenced via paperwork (letters, appointment books etc.) Although, there are a few photos within the boxes where you see one or two of the characters with a drink in hand. These are the reasons we suggest 18+. However, I know some 13 year old's that could definitely handle it. I would play with my 11 year old but he is a very curious kid so we talk about everything. I think it...
Q: I’m confused on how many months subscription you need to solve the mystery. The description says 6, but then there’s an option for a 1 or 3 month subscription. Can you please explain how it works?Asked by Morgan T., March 2022
Hello Morgan! Thanks for the question. So in order to solve the game you will need all six boxes. The optional single box or three month subscription is there for people who want to just test it out, see if it’s for them. Also if you want to send it as a starter gift to a friend giving them the ability to come back for more. Simply, we just want to give you all the options, knowing you’ll want to finish all six. Any other questions? We are here to help.
Thanks,
The Murder Mamas
The story is compelling and the mystery is great. The puzzles are challenging, but not impossible.
The “evidence” items are fabulous. One box even had a massive blanket stuffed into it. They tie into the story and they are awesome.
Customer service is amazing. I needed a document from a box emailed and she hooked me up at 9:00 at night so we could keep going.
I’m thrilled with this subscription.
Thank you so much for this. We are so glad you are enjoying it. Reviews like this make our day!
Like a lot of women my girlfriend is obsessed with true crime podcasts. Thought the game might be fun for her and I like that she would get some cool gifts as well. I was kind of surprised when I realised it was just as much fun for me. The puzzles and ciphers are cool, the paperwork seems really authentic. Tons of attention to detail. We enjoyed doing it together. I say, if you're on the fence, give it a shot.
Holy cow. I am an avid true crime fan and this box does not disappoint. Not sure I can wait a whole month to get my next box! ;)
I ordered Murder & Co through Kickstarter, so I had no idea what to expect. I am so impressed by both the game play and the SWAG! The gifts are awesome. I've only received two boxes so far but I would say I'm a happy customer.
In the early hours of December 14, 2006 the body of a beautiful young student is found in the snowy cemetery, on the campus of the prestigious Ivy League University. The police department quickly closes the case but an on campus police officer, who discovered the co-ed, has her doubts. Was this girl pushed to commit suicide or was it murder?
