Q: Is the box good for a 4 year old?Asked by Brittany B., September 2019
I just gave this to our almost three year old grandson and he loves it, so I would say yes!
It’s a dedicated kindergarten prep box, so yes! My daughter just turned 4 and loves it. Definitely good through all of being 4.:)
Yes, my son is four and enjoys the activities. Plenty to keep him busy.
Q: I run a day home and I would like to order 5 subscriptions is there a better price that you can give me on that and if I do a year for each oneAsked by Mardi W., August 2019
Hi Mardi, we do have bulk pricing available, if you email us we can share this with you!
Q: What day of every month will I be billed? I would like to order on that day so that I am not billed twice in one month. I love the box! However for that reason I canceled last time. Asked by Jennifer S., July 2019
The renewals are billed on the 15th of each month. If you order any time
between the 15th and the end of the month you will not be billed again
until the following month.
Q: Does this box last the hole month? Like if I got one for july will their be an activity for each day?Asked by Erin F., April 2019
The activities are broken up into weekly sections. So each week would have a handful of activities to complete, some of which you can do repetitively, each day of the week.
I wish I could give more than 5 stars. My daughter was so excited to learn and do all of the activities. Everything is perfectly organized and explained on what to have your child do. I love this so much!!
Have you heard of The Preschool Box? The goal of the Preschool Box is to teach your preschooler the basics of kindergarten over the span of a 12-month period. Each box is focused on selected learning objectives with an eye on phonics, reading skills and basic math concepts. Each box also includes a fun book and stickers!
Here, Parker is sorting fun, colored objects given to us as a part of the box on a sorting mat. We had so much fun engaging in learning play together.
In box 1, families work with the letters A-D. Watercolor paints, Q-tips and letters were a part of the box to encourage art play and working with letter identification and sounds. D = dots, C = Cookie, B = Beans
Picture flashcards were also part of the box with the initial letter sound on the back to encourage more phonics practice.
We also worked on counting and number recognition. I LOVED the activity with the number flashcards on 1 side and corresponding velcro dots on the back for counting, which also includes a sensory piece. Parker loves counting the dots!
Additionally, there are worksheets included for glueing the correct number of sequins to the "gumball machines" and tracing letters/numbers, which was a little too advanced for my 2.5 year old.
We LOVE books in this house and this box also included an awesome book featuring a Panda Bear, Parker's favorite stuffy. Total WIN!
So, here's the dish... as an educator, I...
I do inhome daycare and I'm always looking for new craft and preschool boxes. I've tried almost all of them and this is by far my favorite. It seems most appropriate for younger children compared to others. The book comes with wonderful pictures of the activities so you're not left trying to figure out what to do next. This box is better than some of the big name preschool subscribtions I've used. If there were just a few more projects I would easily replace my monthly preschool curriculum with this.
Really nice assortment of activities! The newly updated guidebook is awesome and also provides activities. I love the manipulatives which are included so I don't need to find everything. I can't wait for my next box !
I wish this box came every 4 weeks we will not have any activities to do this week as August was and extra long month. But my child loves the activities.
The amount of items and quality of the items in this box cannot be beat. I am a seasoned subscription box recipient with several different ones arriving each month and this one is by far the most professional put together box out there. This box would still be an amazing value at double the cost!! The activities are straight forward for both kiddies and adults, engaging, support various different learning styles and no doubt will provide hours of fun even after the "lessons" are complete. My kids wont even realize they are learning!! Thank you Preschool Box for giving me the tools and confidence I need to teach my girls.
I can't say enough good about The Preschool Box. My daughter is 4 and has struggled with a significant speech delay so we do all we can to supplement her at home with educational activities. The Preschool Box has been amazing - it's well organized, has high quality materials and engaging activities that she just LOVES. It comes with an instruction pamphlet that's easy to understand and quick to read through so set up is a breeze. We look forward to each new box and will continue to work through them every month.
We’ve gotten the Preschool Box for a couple of months now and my daughter is in love! She’s four and struggles with a significant speech delay so we try to get in as many educational activities as we can. The Preschool box comes already prepared with high quality materials and engaging activities that we look forward to every month. The parent pamphlet makes it super easy to get everything ready so I don’t have to spend a lot of time on prep. LOVE IT!
Me and my three year old love this box. She is so interested in everything she is learning that she doesn't want to stop. This has been an amazing thing we've discovered and can't wait for box number 2.
The Preschool Box is loaded with educational and fun activities. We are (lazy) homeschoolers and this box is going to be perfect! Well-designed, thoughtfully produced, exciting and colorful box has everything we need to keep us busy all month. Thank you, thank you, thank you Preschool Box!!
