Carrot Cake Roulade DIY Baking Kit - Rolled Cake Kit
Grated carrot keeps the sponge moist while cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and clove build the spice underneath it. Once baked, the sponge rolls around a cream cheese icing spiral, so every slice shows the swirl instead of hiding it inside a layer cake. Gum paste carrots finish the top. Makes 12 slices, about 30 minutes prep, 10 to 13 minutes in the oven, plus time to cool and roll.- Coarse grater and offset spatula for grating carrots and spreading icing evenly before rolling.
